ok sorry about that, but I have found a similar video on youtube, each side of the speaker is like the positive and negative side of the sine wave, the frequency is around 28hz

enjoyed it Mike - a reminder of two transmitters blasting into the fog long ago perhaps?
I find my train of thought (right or wrong) on the subject runs so --- The loudspeaker in days of yore was called 'a transducer' transverse electricity in as sine waves and longitudinal sound waves out . I guess it must be so as the speaker cone can only move back and forth . like our ear drums. There lies a problem with the longitudinal wave in electrical theory in so much as tptb (the powers that be) have denied and suppressed its existence. It certainly doesn't obey ohms law or any laws we have been schooled in. our standard instruments are - Usless.
Take a look at this short video Mike keeping in mind that like the loud speaker this plate can only move back and forth despite the generator showing a sine wave
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvJAgrUBF4w
you might like to view salt randomly scattered on a plate as what mathematics calls 'Chaos' and also the condition Henry Moray suggests is the sea of energy which surrounds us -.The Sea of Energy in Which the Earth Floats.
such research as I have done records that the first quantitative research into the effect was carried out by Robert Hook
http://www.itsokaytobesmart.com/post/27927640271/chladni-patterns-acoustic-science
Robert Hook (as might happen now) was silenced and bought off , he was shoe horned into architecture after the great fire of London.
Although somewhat older than Newton the two were very familiar with each other. Indeed Hook was required to work the mathematics required for casting and adding a tuned set of bells to Newtons local church. Hooks work on Gravity and the planets per-dates Newton . Indeed Newton would not / could not publish until after Hooks death.
It is recorded that after Hooks death Newton removed and destroyed all paintings and records of Robert from the Royal society - a bit of a tiff ?

Water could be made to look like it's not moving with correct sound level and frequency
