I was doing some random searches and found this--
https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=1469&v=nOoCuDnmtyM

You know it makes perfect sense considering the technology at the time. The mystery here relies on a few things most people in this day and age find hard to understand which I learned growing up on the farm.

1) Very simple, extra heavy duty machinery lasts a lifetime.
I am always seeing 50-80 year old machinery that with a few hours repair could be made to work again. Today we build crap that seldom lasts decades. I have an old 1947 Ford 9N tractor much older than me that I use for all my yard work and the damn thing is bullet proof. It runs and runs from the hottest days at 35 C down to -30 C day in day out.

2) A man can do a ridiculous amount of work if a machine is actually doing all the work. Imagine having to go to a well and pump water then carry it to the house versus our indoor plumbing and turning a tap on. Automation allows us to work even while were sleeping and I could pump water or cut stone or saw wood/trees or stoke a fireplace automatically 24/7 with only a small amount of time required by me. Now think fully automated 3D printer micro-factory in my garage and we have the equivalent of how Ed thought applied today.

So it is very easy to see how one intelligent man with a great deal of common sense and ingenuity such as Ed Leedskalnin could do the seemingly impossible. It is unfortunate that in this day and age so many are completely dependent on everyone else for almost everything however this was not the way it was when I was younger.

I thought this video was awesome.

Ed (Edward) did two things in his life:
1) Free energy generator based on magnetic fields switching like in MEG devices;
2) Stone levitation and cutting like ancient pyramid builders of Egypt pyramids.

For both parts there are lengthy discussions in multiple forums. People still did not figure out how Ed did that as there are no working replications published.
I also did extensive research on that. Some leads:
http://overunity.com/9479/help-with-ed-leedskalnin-riddle-any-idea/ -
http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/ciencia/antigravityworldgrid/ciencia_antigravityworldgrid08.htm - similar approach for stone levitation just using acustic waves.

It is lost knowledge over thousands of years...

Sorry, but no acustic wave levitation or free energy generator.

If you start measuring the weight of the coral blocks and how much weight wood supports can take this video will start missing these details.
There are always two sides of the fence what actually happened there. Especially when Ed was moving his coral castle from one location to another - http://www.labyrinthina.com/coral-castle.html
"A fanatic for privacy, Ed packed up his entire quarry and moved it to the present location in Homestead. No one ever saw him load or unload the massive tonnage from a friend’s truck he’d enlisted to transport the gigantic stones. The relocation progressed easily, and the entire complex was re-erected at its new location."
With conventional primitive tools it would take months for one man to dissasemble complex, load it to the truck and unload..
Also there is story about front gate repairs which still raise questions how Ed did put stone in location when even with todays technology it was not so easy to lift the stone and put back later in very narrow place. After repairs it was not same as before.

Before making any opinions about facts the prerequise research is a must. ;)

I understand most see this as impossible however the video's show how anybody with a lot of determination could do it. I myself understand this all too well as I built my last house, 1650 sq/ft bungalow, 650 sq/ft double attached garage, show home quality from a bare lot doing 95% of it by myself in about 9 months. This was the third house I designed and built myself and I sold it for $450K with a total input on my part of $170K. Sure it was a ridiculous amount of work and very few people I knew could even comprehend how one person could could do it but that in no way means it cannot be done.

Do you know what the secret is?, you cannot do what I did or you will lose your mind because of the sheer magnitude of work involved. So you don't build the whole house you build it one small piece at a time. We remain focused with only the task at hand and we complete it any way we can then move on to the next task. However if you let the enormity of the project cast doubt on your ability to get it done your screwed. It takes X amount of man-hours to get it done whether it is one man or one hundred. This is why most people cannot even grasp how other people do miraculous things because they see only the end point and not the thousands of individual steps which led to the end point.

I see free energy in exactly the same perspective and if you think your just going to build a device then you are mistaken. It is the combined knowledge and hundreds if not thousands of hours of work and experimentation that is going to get it done in my opinion. Dreamers dream and people who do the impossible bust their ass getting it done one way or another despite what others may believe.

My best experiences were when I was in way over my head and well outside my comfort zone.
