No christmas truce for swindlers, idiots and their supporters! The one I expose today is Doug Konzen, supported by Sterling Allan.
An alleged self-looped generator is presented here:
http://peswiki.com/index.php/OS:Doug_Konzen_(Konehead)_on_Self-Looped_Generators
The principle is not new, we saw it often: a generator charges a capacitor and then the capacitor is discharged in a load. As the generator is never directly connected to the load, it is presumed that the load is freely powered.
C.C
To charge a capacitor needs energy to separate the negative and positive charges. This work is done against the Coulomb force. It is extremely easy to calculate and we know the result: W=1/2*C*U2.
If the capacitor is discharged to power a load, then you have to charge it again and so you must use energy from the generator.
As you waste half the energy in the resistance of the circuit when you charge a capacitor, and you waste also energy in the diode gaps of the particular setup that is presented, in the coil resistance, and so on, the efficiency of the Konzen's tale is less then 50%.
Even if a resonant LC condition was used to avoid the 50% loss that we have when we charge a capacitor from a RC circuit, and we could recover all the stored charge for the load, the coil resistance and other usual component imperfections would prevent a 100% efficiency even if the load was not connected, so the generator can't be self-looped.
The alleged condition that a fast charge could make a difference is another lie: the work done to charge a capacitor doesn't depend on the time to charge it, it's a general rule following from the potential energy.
The alleged principle is a fallacy and no experimental proof is presented, so the Doug Konzen's device is a pure scam.
Quotebut I do not have any "motor-generator" looper in my possession
So to put it mildly there is no device. :-\
I've never believed any of Doug's claims, to self loop the first thing needed is a device that outputs more energy
than the operator inputs. I would say if he had one of those he would have done it already.
Same with the other experimenters he listed, none of them have or have had device to loop either.
Problem with PESWIKI is that they require a stream of "stories" or the site visits will drop off and reduce their income.
It's the story that matters not the truth.
Cheers

Enough said, me thinks. :)

I'm not sure I would agree as I have built many similar devices. If the switching is fast the self-inductance of the coil limits the current rise thus reducing I2R losses to a minimum. As well this is simply an LC circuit where the Emf just so happens to be generated by a moving magnet rather than another coil or battery and I have built many boost converters in this configuration. The output is similar to the waveform shown below from a PM rotor/stationary coil setup and have I found the diodes do not produce any more losses than in any other configuration.
In any case I have built many devices almost identical to this setup and the efficiency can be very high so long as it operates within certain limitations.
I mean no offense but could we possibly do any worse than what we normally do which is transferring high currents through relatively small conductors at low frequency such as 120v/60Hz, it is worst case scenario in my opinion.
Note: the picture is from this site, http://www.fluxite.com/WorkingRadiantEnergy.pdf, and you may notice the similarities in the circuit.
