A patent which looks like an Avramenko plug to me, looks like it could convert electromagnetic longitudinal wave forms into usable energy.
Interesting it uses another set of diodes before the load resistance.

I wonder how much those other two diodes help efficiency? Probably not much.
Not really sure EM i have never seen this config before, but i will test some time when i get my list of things to do down a bit :-[
