Yes it's good to do and I tagged several things I saw in images but the server kept crashing as there are so many people helping with this.   Still good to try if you can get on.   O0

Had no problems myself, been fast so far  O0

A lot of misinformation regarding this crash. very strange, ringing phones and no answer makes me think they were all unconscious, sudden decompression at 35K, Carbon Monoxide injection into the aircon if that's even possible, I hope they are OK but strange it just vanished.

It seems from what I have seen on the Spanish news, that there is a strong possibility that it is a hijack and the plane is on the ground somewhere!!! What gets me is even if the transpnders were switched off, radar would still pick it up, especially in a very active military area.

Could a 777 be flown under the radar? and without arousing peoples attention below!!! it's all very strange. I think concentration should be put on possible land areas, also it would need a good strip to land on which will narrow down a little at least.

The thing with the cell phones ringing was explained (as I had thought myself it was the case) that you hear a phone ring on a cell network from the callers end as the cell network tries to locate a phone (so you won't just have dead air and will know it is working) even though on the end where the person being called is their phone may be off.  The ring will continue for the caller until the cell network determines the phone bing called is not available.   So that whole thing people were saying was somewhat misleading.

Very Strange things going on with this plane.

A highjacking with no demands made???? and If it was someone wanting to kill everyone then why fly for 7 hours.

Not seen on Radar for 7 hours, unbelievable

Maybe we are looking at this in the wrong direction, just maybe all that is wanted is the plane, another type 9/11 with a very big target, fill the plane with what type of explosive!!!!! now I'm really going off the rails :D

There were no people of any real importance that we know of on the plane, so it was not the people as such, that only leaves the plane which is a long haul plane, 7-8hrs from where it is now. What if the transponder recognition was changed to a double on a normal route, say to Parkistan! I shudder at my own thoughts :o

I think a terrorist would want as much publicity as possible, there's been a lot of tension between US, Russia & China lately, who knows.

When this plane went missing what was needed was a big story to take peoples minds off Ukraine, when you look at the BBC news site, the plane missing is bigger than the Ukrane story, the plane story also rates higher in most read stories.

Maybe the US needed a reason to go search the areas they are currently searching for a totally different reason.

It certainly is Dumped, though I had more or less worked out the airline, lets face it, if it was a missile I am sure they would not have lost it off the radar. Dirty tricks department I am sure it was, for what? we will know in time if we don't know now! :(

Black Projects and other research efforts
which are classified under the rubric of
"national security" do not produce "evidence"
which would be available to the general public.

Until, that is, such time as someone comes forth
as a "whistleblower" or a deathbed confession.

Only those who've actually worked within such
projects and who have endured "compartmentalization"
know how effective security can be when life and
livelihood are threatened should a breach occur.

Does the U.S. have dirty hands?  Exceedingly so.
Dirty and bloody.

Boeing 777 cruising speed = 560 MPH.  Max is 590 MPH.   Assuming it would be flown at a safe cruising speed and knowing the exact coordinates it took that sudden Westerly turn and knowing how long it was still pinging satellites I used Google Earth to run some lines and distances it would fly in that amount of time.   Assuming it wanted to try staying off radar by flying over the ocean and around the bottom tip of India (far enough out to avoid radar) I found it could easily have made it to the coast of Iran and a little more (assumed travel was about 3900 miles + in that span of time).   Two Iranians on board with stolen passports.   I know they said the didn't seem suspect but the Boston Marathon bombers didn't seem suspicious either even after Russia warned us about them.   So that's my theory at the moment.   I'm surprised I haven't seen any other theories based on the distance it would have flown in that amount of time.   The distance into Iran fits perfectly and it would all be over water until it reached to coast of Iran and if flying low enough likely off most radar.   Motive is certainly there also.

If that's all true that could certainly thicken the plot  ;)     The news here initially only mentioned that they were an 'electronics firm' with no mention of military radar and similar tech.   It could be something behind all this or it could just be coincidence.   Would a big banking firm actually kill off a whole plane full of people just to get the rights to some new patents?   Seems like a bit of a stretch and I have no love for big banking at all.

In the end what do we believe!!! one thing is the military radar in that area is hot, and a plane just does not go off the map, even if it was a mid air explosion there would be many smaller sightings and send off alarms, we are told we live in the 21st century and nothing escapes notice ;D ;D

I have a feeling this has got out of hand and probably be swept under the carpet in the end, as an unsolved mystery :D

Then why do so many people succeed in convincing themselves of weird and improbable facts?

For instance:
What is the basis for the view that MH370 sent a message for maintenance crews that it had just landed?

The engine monitoring system on commercial
airliners is a dedicated communications link
directly from the engines on the aircraft to the
designated monitoring location.

Engine Condition Monitoring (http://www.lufthansa-technik.com/engine-condition-monitoring)

Monitoring Systems (http://www.rolls-royce.com/about/technology/systems_tech/monitoring_systems.jsp)

Quote from: Rolls Royce Web Page above
A critical aspect of the EHM system is the transfer of data
from aircraft to ground. Aircraft Communications Addressing
and Reporting System (ACARS) digital data-link systems are
used as the primary method of communication. This transmits
the Aircraft Condition Monitoring System (ACMS ) reports via
a VHF radio or satellite link whilst the aircraft is in-flight.

A worldwide ground network then transfers this data to the
intended destination. The positive aspect of this system is
its robust nature and ability to distribute information worldwide.
On the other hand, the   Airplane Condition Monitoring Function
(ACMF) reports are limited to 3kB, hence the acquisition systems
need to work within this limitation. Future systems are being
deployed to increase data volumes through wireless data
transmission as the aircraft approaches the gate after landing.
This will enable more data to be analysed, but will not be as
immediate as ACARS, where data can be assessed well before
the aircraft lands again.

...in this case, probably, RR in Derby, Derbyshire, England.

Are you saying that, on this occasion, eight or so hours after take off, such a message was sent to the Rolls Royce headquarters, and they have kept quiet about this?

The aircraft monitoring systems send periodic
reports throughout the course of the flight.

For international flights across the oceans the
communications link is probably via satellite
to the ground stations.

Yes, someone has received the reports for
the flight and a very strange silence is being
enforced.

I'm not saying that you are wrong but I am asking how you can say this with such confidence, bearing in mind that if an airliner comes down in the sea, the survival time is not high.

i.e. anyone who delays is probably sentencing the passengers to death.

Where do all these references obtain their information?

It all looks like a lot of B.S. just to stir the conspiracy theorist pot.

Having been heavily involved in deploying such comms systems to land & sea based vehicles (the same satellite systems were used (yes, I even know which constellation of sats are involved in the RR engine reporting system)) I can say most of what I read on provided links are obviously idiots fools trying to fan the flames.

The at-gate reporting system wasn't deployed on that aircraft and probably never will be. They are limited to ACARS for the engines and that operates in the VHF bands. The up-link is in the 130mHz region and you can hear the sat down-links with any radio capable of tuning in a range around 150mHz.

The sat constellation repeating ACARS IS NOT CAPABLE of direction-finding shots. They do have the ability to report which antenna had the strongest signal strength. This is why the engineers provided two arcs on a map to provide the PROBABLE location of the last up-link.

The pilots do have the training (and must have it) to minimize 'squawking' by turning such systems off. The intent is to help minimize radio congestion while on the ground or in congested air space. That and ground-based transmissions in the 130mHz range are illegal in many countries because that band is allocated to government and emergency services - Much of the U.K. all of the U.S. is this way.

Yes, someone definitely knows where it went but they can't tip their hand, and won't.

Anyone ever heard of NROL?

I own two of the patches. The second one I bought from a friend  :)

The CS geeks really need to provide some credible sources. >:(

>>Edit...

'Idiots' was a bit strong. I've been the 'idiot' many times.

One other tidbit.....

Those sat constellations aren't arranged to provide continuous communications. In the higher and lower latitudes there are noticeable time gaps between satellite connections. The reporting equipment not only has a schedule for reports but also waits for a satellite to be within range. Being at 35,000 feet helps a little but not as much as one would think. The sat down-link antennas are pointed downward in a cluster producing coverage spots. The reporting equipment must be in one of the coverage spots, regardless of altitude.

Regarding the still missing flight and what may have
happened, this analysis is quite probable (http://sofrep.com/34084/alright-goodnight-malaysia-want-know-happened-flight-mh-370/).

Life of the average person seems to come cheap is there's a profit to be made.

You ever heard that Titanic did not sink it was another ship, infact the Titanics older twin sister that was so badly damaged a year before the Titanic sunk by hitting a Naval vessel, it's backbone was broken, the insurance was void because the Navy deemed it not there fault.

So a plan by J.P.Morgan  :o decided to dress the sister ship up as the titanic and arrage for it to sink by supposedly being hit by an iceburg, with this accident they could indeed claim insurance for it's loss.

Wow that was removed fast, just tried the link myself and it has indeed been removed.

QuoteThe Olympic was designed as a luxury ship; her passenger facilities, fittings, deck plans and technical facilities were largely identical to those of her more famous sister Titanic

QuoteOlympic's first major mishap occurred on her fifth voyage on 20 September 1911, when she collided with a British warship, HMS Hawke off the Isle of Wight. The collision took place as Olympic and Hawke were running parallel to each other through the Solent. As Olympic turned to starboard, the wide radius of her turn took the commander of the Hawke by surprise, and he was unable to take sufficient avoiding action.[29] The Hawke's bow, which had been designed to sink ships by ramming them, collided with Olympic's starboard side near the stern, tearing two large holes in Olympic's hull, below and above the waterline respectively, resulting in the flooding of two of her watertight compartments and a twisted propeller shaft. HMS Hawke suffered severe damage to her bow and nearly capsized. Despite this, Olympic was able to return to Southampton under her own power, and no-one was seriously injured or killed.[14][30]

QuoteThat plane, they are still looking, seems they have not found anything yet according to the Spanish news, all those sightings of pieces in the sea has shown up nothing. And so the saga goes on Huh?

This is really weird and something strange is going on, we have had sat images quiet constant for over a week, showing exactly where the floating stuff is and yet they keep setting search areas away from the sat spots, like today they moved the search area to somewhere no where near the floating stuff, maybe they are more interested in looking for the flight recorder but then how are planes going to find that.

Even stranger is that the dam stuff they need to hear the pinger from the flight recorder wont be in position until April the 4Th DOH just about on the edge of battery life for the flight recorder, seems to me they really don't want to find any people alive or the flight recorder.

I mean humans have survived some unsurvivable things in the past, like a guy parachuting out of an airplane and his chute never opened, he landed in a bush and had a few scratches, now if there were a few survivors by chance, then these poor souls would have perished by now.

Why are they not trying to pick up the objects that the sat has seen, they know where these are, within a days drift anyway.

Then on the news on TV they showed an spotter airplane about a week ago, throwing out marker beacons that were emitting smoke, so OK that's good the plane spotted some debris over a week ago and marked it with smoker flares, but that only works if you have a dam boat in the area to follow the dam smoke to then pick up the marker and debris, so why throw out smoke markers, was it just for TV because there's still no wreckage been pulled from the ocean so we are told.

Just remembered today they say that the plane was traveling faster than they thought and so ran out of fuel quicker and came down a lot sooner, some 500 miles sooner. Now who is telling big one's here, and what is this Rothschild link with top secret weapons engineers that were on the plane and now this becomes the property of Rothschild? the plot thickens it seems.

Personally I do not think we will ever see anything of this plane, if there was a plot then it would not be interesting for it to be found until they can cover up with the right story :(
