Title: LTPU Center Toroid Breakout
Post by: giantkiller on 2016.11.10, 19:35:06
This rabid pitbul is not giving up...
I am looking into this center device again. It seems to be a commercially produced unit. I am particularly interested in the center dividers in the middle of each toroid. Are they plastic, aluminum, iron, or ferrous?
They do divide the 4 wires coming out in pairs.

Anybody have info or insight?
Thanks in advance.

@GK @GK

Thanks for your PM and good to hear from y'a. I'm always in and out and around. Always reading the threads but mostly working on my Spin Conveyance Part 3 and also on some small experiments for others to try to explain it. So, SM's Toroids. Let me see during the day tomorrow I will post some ideas.

In the meantime look at these two links.

@Grumpy shows it well on this thread.
http://www.overunityresearch.com/index.php?topic=1219.msg19336#msg19336
So as it he shows how the bucking turns from one half to the other continues by passing under the divider before ti changes direction of winding turns, hence your bucking mode. This implies that the two haves are in series and would therefore require only two wire of the four leaving the toroid center.

Another is this post I made on this thread that links to the idea of two lead pairs but not from each half of the toroid.

I'll be back sometime tomorrow.

I have always maintained that those devices are standard common mode chokes such as the attached pictures show, although some disagree with this position. The divider is plastic as that is required for the regulatory spacing requirements for these devices, which usually have to withstand 1.5kV to 3 kV. The potting in the center insures the dielectric withstand as well as securing the "flying leads".

These devices are of domestic US design because of the black and white wires that usually connect directly to the line after fuse and switch. If they were IEC the leads would be brown and blue. I have seen similar devices in surplus stores that I used to frequent in the 70's and 80's. Nowadays the devices usually sit directly on a pc board, so the flying leads are not used.

The toroidal core for CMC's has been largely abandoned in favor of the low cost and higher dielectric capabilities of the split bobbin/C or E core approach. Toroidal CMC's are now usually only found in small versions that do not require special mounts.

Try this to understand how they are used and for images:

https://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images;_ylt=Awr5.ow8iSdY_n8APLRXNyoA;_ylu=X3oDMTE0OG8yMzhpBGNvbG8DYmYxBHBvcwMxBHZ0aWQDQjE5MTBfMQRzZWMDcGl2cw--?p=common+mode+choke+circuit&fr=yhs-invalid&fr2=piv-web

CMC's have special properties such as exact turns ratios for very good common mode noise filtering.

Note also that there is a video showing SM turning off the LTPU and a spark jumps at the precise switchoff time between the two windings and precisely at the closest breakover point, where the plastic divider meets the core and between the two windings.

This proves that the winding does not continue around and also that SM's device required the high dielectric strength that such a CMC could provide. But I also believe he used the devices for their other unique properties, and not necessarily as filters.

Of course this is only my opinion, based on having designed commercial products with such devices in the distant past.

Sounds to me like SM used CMC's to loop back his output to the input.

The early TPU that turned off when flipped over only had one CMC, and possibly no static DC field circuit.

The large units with two CMC's are thought to have this static DC bias field and do not turn off when flipped over.  Was on CMC for the bias and the other for the controls?

@GUYS

Am at work presently. I had started a post this weekend but things just got in the way of finishing it so sometime tomorrow.

But here are a few questions.

1) If the toroid is a standard CMC, then how is it that he uses the same one for the FTPU, and all other TPUs. If it is a CMC then why not use a small one in the FTPU since it was only running at 60 volts. So if it is a CMC, there are thousands and thousands of models for every type of usage, voltage level, amperage level, etc., so why did SM always use the same one in all his devices?

2) If you look very closely at the photo of the two LTPU toroids, you will notice that the windings have sunken into the core as if the wires melted their way into the core. How can that happen with a CMC if the core is ferrite?

3) Is it possible that all the the OU prowess of the TPU stems from the toroid itself hence it is not a CMC.

4) When you look at the windings versus the rather impressive core mass, seems like the windings are at a great disadvantage trying to impress or couple from one coil, via the core, to the other coil.

5) Is it possible the toroid is a current sensing device because many such toroidal current sensors cores share about the same dimensions. Four wires exit from the top center. Two could go the winding that is in bucking mode so both halves are one coil. Then you could have two of those wires that carry the output through the center. Since we have never seen the underside of the toroid, the top wires could in fact be going through the right through center so it could act as a current sonsor?

I say 'Air core'. This way the energy is not trapped which correlates to less losses. The flux has to travel in air in a capacitive function. Remember SM put the clamp meter at the center in air and we saw quite ALOT of activity. This is a huge clue. Take the opposite stance on everything SM said and a 100% agreement on his slight of hands motions. He gave more physical clues than electronic or physics clues.
I will have more results of my tests in 3 weeks. I have alot on my retired plate right now.
I spent days cleaning my bench and putting things away.
Now I am set up and configuring my next test in steps. I will not bore anybody with intermediates.

Thanks wattsup for the replies. I still stand my ground with my hunches and what has come off my benches.

I could see why SM gave the explanations he did and why he said what he said.
I have spent the last two years pondering the release of this type of effort. Haven't come to anything yet but the future holds an opportunity to exercise the explanation or production for any of us. SM must've been haunted like the rest of us.

There is another type of CMC used in the audio industry to cancel the high frequencies from each channel so that the remainder is fed to the woofers.

Now what business was SM in during the time he discovered the effect? The speaker system manufacturing business at Spheric Labs. Bingo!

I'm betting when they went under, they threw a few of these out along with hundreds those plastic spacer rings seen in the OpenTPU.

I confirmed the plastic spacer rings with Jack Durban and they can be seen in the speaker design patent attached. They were stacked to form the top and bottom vent of the floor standing pipe speakers.

Jack said they threw in the dumpster lots of speaker parts besides the rings.

The rest is Occam's Razor. No need to get too far out

Here is my view on the CMC.

I think one has been wired in differencial mode, and it is potted because of the high voltage which is circulating.

They pass differential currents (equal but opposite), while blocking common-mode currents. Magnetic fields produced by differential-mode currents in the windings tend to cancel each other out. Thus, the choke presents little inductance or impedance to differential-mode currents. This also means the core will not saturate even for large differential-mode currents and the maximum current rating is instead determined by the heating effect of the winding resistance.

The CMC's I think are sitting on that HV source, a 1.5-3v battery spark generator like you find in instant gas water heaters.

I have a circuit drawn up for the whole system, if anyone wants it PM me :)

I'll let the cat out of the bag early:

This shows the LTPU. With a 1.5v spark generator as the input this circuit will work on regenerative feedback.
The L2 / L3 can be the center toroids or the parallel loops in the ring.
This schematic fits all of SM's operations, any size constraints and limited Radio shack parts.
And with a switch in one of the L1 connections a charged capacitor can be the 9v supply.

Maybe I am hard headed too.

Mike

Could you describe what you think will happen with your circuit? A brief explanation of the components and how and why they are used.

As you already know, SM's devices produced DC output with some hash in the range of 5 kHz, all supposedly without the use of rectifiers. If they had produced AC, he could have stepped it up or down to any voltage he liked, and would not have had to manage the wide range of DC voltages we observe in the videos. (series connected array of lamps, voltages from 90 volts to 800 volts, the need for an inverter for the 180 volt DC device.)

It is my belief that SM found a way to repetitively kick electrons in a wire and speed them up to a velocity many orders of magnitude beyond normal drift velocity, which is very slow. This produced a large usable DC current and voltage in the wire or in adjacent devices.

Due to high speed collisions, there was a lot of heating in the wire, and the electrons would have to progressively create preferred pathways in the wire to allow for the high speed. This created the windup or turbine effect as SM put it.

Just my opinions based on the video evidence. One could argue that the output was too high an AC frequency or of a pulse nature, so had to be rectified, but that does not fit all that he has said about the devices, nor does it explain some of the oddities of the devices.

Thanks in advance for any explanation of your circuit, if you have the time.

Hi ION

Well I have not gone through all the TPU threads and read everything, so I had a stab at what I have read  :)

From what can be seen in the photos and the limitation of parts (that can be seen), what we seem to have is two chokes which seem to be HV CM chokes of standard production, sitting on a box which does resemble a battery operated spark generator, some caps and of course the external toroid (of which we don't know how it is made up).

Now if the circuit was running at 5khz there would have been quite a high wistle coming from the circuit.

Now thinking on what you have said, maybe the output transformer is not there!!! just C5 as I have shown and the output taken accross that, would have to be quite big I think.

What got me going is the heating up of the system, so SM say's. I know that when running CMC's in differencial mode and at the right frequency, they start to heat up.

Now the circuit (this config: has not been tried). Well the spark module is just a HV half square wave pulse @ very low current, C2 and C3 are bias caps (HV), C1 is a HV cap which becomes part of the resonant circuit formed with one coil of the choke and the coil in the outer toroid, note how it gets charged when there is an on pulse from the generator, and how it discharges when there is no pulse from the generator. Two things happen here, apart from the pulse from the generator at say frequency, a, there is also added from the resonant circuit, frequency, b. the result is a caos of harmonics, the power of which add and not divide into the input.

The external toroid is the collector of these "frequencies", the output with the neon center tap is the bring of that caos back to some normal being, and thinking more on the output, that final choke could be wired as just that, a common mode choke (for the possible TVI that was created on the very small TPU).

The fast diodes stop the back rush when the pulse is off (still some will pass) and the build up from the discharging of the biasing cap C2. If I used a 12v pulse, the voltage could be around 100v circulating after the diodes.

Now I know what you are going to say, well where does the energy come from? well I think it is this unique system of harmonic buildup. Like someone once said, if one person is in a busy square and shouts out, he may not be heard, but if all the people shouted out at the same time!!!

Hope that has helped ???

Regards

Mike 8)

PS I think if you look at the output (neon is used as a discharge tube) and if you turn the choke into a true CMC (each coil to one side of the cap) the output would be a hashed DC

@GK!

Greetings from the land of woebegone experimenters.  :D

Finding white papers on the following is difficult and understanding them even more so.

Look into 'para-metrically pumped toroidal capacitors with sequential poloidal pump windings'. It is the only way, AFAIK, to produce a DC output from a varying control signal. Basically, it is a mix of magnetic amplifier theory with dielectric charge pumping vs. iron core saturation control.

This is possible when applying a clean varying signal, sequentially and in quadrature fashion to segmented poloidal windings wrapped around a toroidally wound capacitor.

I made my first by slicing a 40,000uF 400VDC Aluminum electrolytic capacitor into doughnut shaped segments.

There is a great deal of difficulty trying to maintain electrical isolation between the layers where the slicing is done. I think I went through a couple of dozen caps before I found that the sharpest possible blade works when slicing the chunks off on a slow lathe. (I have an almost endless supply of large caps being replaced during the PM processes where I work.)

Simple light handling will cause the layers to bend and short out but I did succeed after many tries.
The next step was to protect the edges of those layers from physical damage by coating them with Robroy Class I Div I ceramic cement. Later, I found out that super fine grout compound also worked.

After making four connections (one each on each end of the two metal film layers - In & Out) was even more difficult.

Charging the dielectric is most easily done by sitting the resulting toroid shaped device centered around the output point of an old fashioned lab room air ionizer.

The ionizer is intended to provide charge for the capacitor dielectric vs. applying voltage to the former capacitor's layers.

The quadrature, poloidially wound, windings were fed from a simple MOSFet H-Bridge circuit driven by a signal generator.

So, the simple hypothesis to be proven was that the small toroids were actually dielctric core with toroidially wound capacitor plates and DC was obtained from the former capacitor plates by pumping (in quadrature fashion) that charge around thus creating an IN and OUT for a completed load circuit.

Unfortunately, the best I obtained was ~1VDC with the pump frequency superimposed upon it. It had a very low impedance ( I could dimly light a 20W 6V incandescent lamp) but when all was added up it was only about 10% efficient.

I've seen studies from CERN using similar methods for multiple reasons but I'm not looking to create a black hole in my man-cave.

Not much time on the bench anymore but there were some interesting results  O0

EDIT>>
BTW, I could imagine using two such devices over a two port lab air ionizer with opposite quadrature rotation to quadruple the combined output voltage but never went that far.

I know and respect everybody's viewpoint and dissertation from their vices. I'll put the PHD back in the closet.
When I found the multiplier Q circuit i realized it fit as part. It also lends it self to using the horizontal windings in series with the vertical windings. Add the Armstrong oscillator and the simplicity remains. Viola!
An iron wire winding would gain heat faster. I have done field models of this with the parametric circuit added long ago.
It is breathtaking and satisfying.
In the current configuration I just have to choose a frequency to drive and operate at. I have a suspicion these two are different.
In one helical antenna test I held an SWR meter at 1 yard distance and saw the pumping in and out. Gee, I see it! I put the amp meter in the field and saw fluxuations. Gee, just like SM.
Life happened and I had issues to deal with. Now I am back at it after a long break with fresh eyes and a haunted conscience.
Somebody else did it and I will too. And probably along with others.
My overall view is everybody is possessed by some cause. I like this one. :D
I can only assume that there are a few of us left here because the rest have failed and taken up drinking. :o

Sorry GK missed your question, yes with a core, as I drew this out quickly by hand I did not see I hadn't drawn in the core. The outer big toroid I think does not have a core as such, maybe wrong  on that, but the very small TPU I believe was a plastic frame, I have one identical or I did have as not sure where it is atm.

The other thing is I saw a long time ago the video of him cutting open the toroid, there did not seem to be a core as such.

Yes, EM this is a new thread.
Based upon what you posted then the two frequencies are ~5khz and ~7.8hz
The 5k is the driving frequency and the 7.8 is the listening or tuned frequency.
And what I was aiming at was the 5k is used to drive the spark gap emissions, which is broad band.
This would in turn feed the 7.8hz tuned loops, which would synch with the earth Schumann.
QuoteThe Schumann resonances (SR) are a set of spectrum peaks in the extremely low frequency (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extremely_low_frequency) (ELF) portion of the Earth (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earth)'s electromagnetic field (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electromagnetic_field) spectrum. Schumann resonances are global electromagnetic resonances (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resonance), generated and excited (http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/sunearth/news/gallery/schumann-resonance.html) by lightning (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lightning) discharges in the cavity formed by the Earth's surface and the ionosphere (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ionosphere).
One would have to derive power from this somehow to run the circuit.
Or
Then some of the tuned loops are tuned to 5khz and others are receptors of 7.8hz.
I have always wondered if iron is a naturally tuned material to 7.8hz. This would allow iron wire to resonate easier. SM did stick a magnet to the LTPU side as he swiped around. This would also trigger the verticals

I am just grasping for operating parameters here...

Extensive testing has proven two things:
What doesn't work or might not be instrumental and
some function that does work or fits SM's descriptions.

What I have found out is the verticals act like helical transmission antennas and the horizontals act like directed RX antennas.

Many apologies if this duplicates other threads. It is not meant to be definitive as of yet.

Hi EMDevices

It is good to see you posting your ideas here again.

No I have not seen those pictures before.

Jack Durban told me they had a hard time keeping the Chrome plastic decorative trim on those hoop spacers.

I remember seeing Spherics Audio Labs speakers on ebay where the chrome was peeling away on the plastic spacers.

All hypotheses are certainly welcome but as usual, the proof of the pudding is in the tasting.

I think if we can duplicate the vibrational, gyro and washboard effects, the OU will be just a thought away.

So, in the middle of the night I get an awakening.
What I see is Marco's dancing magnets.
This is the gyro, vibrational effect.
The driver speaker is not pushing away the vertical material but first repelling the field.
The core material of the vertical then moves to balance up with the pushed field.
Of course there is part of the magnetic field in the vertical material too.
In all the tests I have seen by all of us I have yet to see a magnet in the configuration.
The Kunel configuration is actually another representation of the dancing magnet.
I think 'Boom'.

I did extensive research on Dave Doleshal. He was a founder and contributor to the polyamory movement.

QuoteDave Doleshal has a Ph.D. in psychology from the University of California, Irvine.
He is a former directer of the World Polyamory Association. He has studied consensual nonmonogamy since 1995, and has a private consulting practice in Berkeley, California.

Pictures attached. Also attached is a picture of Mercury Marilla and Roland Schinzinger.

Interesting that he used many aliases including "Mercury Mark"

Somewhere I had a couple of good pictures of SM from a web search, I will try to find and post.

I have to agree with POYNT, the fellow you posted and identified as MARK does not appear to me to be SM. The features and shape of the head look wrong and the resemblance is only very slight.

There are far better look alikes out there.

Hi @GK

Saw your last youtube with thanks.
Basically you are showing the same thing but in inverse of my first ever youtube here.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXgL4Wf8zrQ

Your coil was stationary and the magnet moved. In mine the magnet was stationary and the coil moved

This really spells out something speaker related like my link in my previous post.

It just lingers and lingers. I am sure the toroids are speaker magnets and SM was making speakers and had all the components at hand. It could be the toroid coils are output coils but the driving is a speaker coil under the magnet center.

Two coils wound on a toroid magnet, I have tried it. Pulsed one, got nothing on the second. It cannot work as a coupling medium. So what can it be used for? The speaker magnet can be used as a permanent bias of the copper atom nuclei in those two coils. It's like pulling an elastic band further then it should go but not enough to snap. Then you need a drive coil. The drive coil could now be a voice coil bouncing up and down and working on the inner verticals of the coils and finding the best frequency to resonance on the toroid coils.

That would be a start under a Spin Conveyance perspective of SMs device. This means the OU is only in the Toroid and it's center. He hid the center in the FTPU and showed no amp rating, only voltage. He hid it in the OPTU just for the same volts but am sure he faked the actual lighting of those two table lamps. He hid it in the STPU. He had one shown in the MTPU center on that box again hiding the underside of the center of the toroid while he could also have had 2 or 3 more hidden vertically in the outer walls while showing what seems to us as an outer vertical winding as a decoy. He showed two toroids in the LTPU center but could have had 8 more hidden in the outer walls again mounted and secured vertically. Each device also provided space to hide the required increased batteries per model.

The other possibility is that the two coils on the toroid are duds and both the drive and pickup are in the center of a speaker magnet, and if he did not put coils on that magnet just to hide its usage, it would have been too obvious. You know, speaker guy showing miracle speaker magnets. Instead, he put all this fluff around it.

In Spin Conveyance a one inch length of wire is all that is required to produce output. You can have a very complicated generator device with multiple series, parallel arrangements each producing their part of an output all coming together to the Last Inch of wire before the load. The last inch proves to us that just that one inch of wire can be induced enough conveyance to satisfy the load. The required movement may be no greater then the distance traveled by a speaker coil when it produces an AC tone or a DC chop.

Remember way back this guy called @handguy made this device called the Thingamajigger. Just a center magnet sway back and forth but never making a full rotation. His device was very efficient.

The advantage of a small physical oscillation like a moving speaker coil is special. Where a standard rotor magnet approaches a pickup then leaves it thus producing only a gradual AC rise and fall, the moving coil will produce straight DC because there is no rise or fall but only a maximum or peak point oscillation of the copper nuclei. So basically SMs TPU could simply be adding two coils to the magnet of a speaker, then build the speaker with the speaker coil and suspension. Then send a tone and measure the output of the two toroid coils. Since this would be DC the 10 toroids could be 5 series series then paralleled or any other mix. He could saw off a part of the LTPU and still keep it working but just reconnecting the loop.

I really cannot see anymore how windings in the LTPU outer ring could be used to engender a gain in coupling, it's just too way out there. Hiding the toroid devices in the rings makes more sense to me. So the job would be to build a speaker magnet toroid TPU.

I'd have to look into speaker building component suppliers to see what is out there as a trial. I would like to investigate that part since a long time and may as well do it now before the world blows up. The basic principle means magnet diameters and strengths could be an acceptable variable to size and output. He could have had three mini speaker magnets in the STPU mounted vertical. The FTPU was mounted horizontal and maybe he did  not know how to optimize the speaker coil placement and that is why it did not work upside down.

Just some ideas I am throwing out there. It would be the irony of going full circle only to arrive at the starting point where at that time it was just instinctive while today things are far more involved in how we see our effects. I basically started a new way of looking at electricity and this has helped me see so many works and builds in a different way. Explaining it has not always been the easiest task indeed.

Keep well.

Could the operation be similar to the old BH memory cores where a mag charge is stored then checked by some means utilising the outer cores in resonance?
It's simple enough.

@WAttsup, OMG...
My medulla oblongata just took a dump.
The TPU doesnt work upside down.
He had a pair of vertically repelling magnets in a tube. This can be small or big.
A topside coil repels the magnet pushing it downward and this vibration is read.
It also thumps. At the correct speed it resonates.

I know, 8 years later and full circle.
I will build one of these little paperless speakers and give it a try over the holidays.
Should be exciting. The last video I did was the opposite of this and there shows the proof that this actuation is viable. Like, DUH. Its a speaker.

Aye, you're no doubt correct about that.  It has taken some
time for reasoning, conjecture and guessing along the way
for the "connection" to manifest.

But could there be more "secrets" that are in need of discovery?

Will more be revealed as the race gets underway?

The first TPU didn't work upside down because it relied on gravity and the second field to create precession.

@All

So picture this........

SM in those days was working with speakers. One day he was assembling a woofer speaker and thought, "Hey, before I put on the final piece which is the speaker magnet, what if I wind two coils on it and see what happens.". We winds two coils on the toroidal speaker magnet, positions and secures it with a white dielectric sheet in between. He connects the speaker as usual and plays a tone, then connects a light bulb on the two toroid coil halves that he wound on the speaker magnet. The bulb starts to light up. The TPU is born. Hmmmmmmmm.

But to detract from the toroid being the main honcho, he mounts the toroid on a wire reel so the center underneath the toroid is protected from peering eyes. He winds half haphazardly the FTPU outer rings as a decoy sending the output through them, not helping or hindering anything but to show that the outer rings are the important focal point which they really are not. So simple you would laugh. Too simple and needing dressing up and still needs to run the speaker coil oscillator with a battery. The outcome is a TPU that will perform way over any possible battery could, just like he always said it did. He never said there were no batteries in his TPU. He always said no battery "alone" could do this.

This then would dispel or eliminate any further attempts to figure out useless outer rings in relation to using loops or mutual loops and miracle coupling hopes where we all have spent the last several years in checkmate. That is why when I looked at all the TPUs, the outer rings and possible coiling schemes just countered everything I know about coupling. SM did not invent anything from scratch. As any inventor will take whatever is within his grasp to work with and work out new arrangements.

When he says 1 foot or 1000 one feet lengths of wire, he means 1 inch to 1000 one inches, but in reality for him it means 1 inch to the number of coil turns on his speaker magnet per coil times two times the number of toroids he can make and hide inside his devices plus some drive batteries to keep it going.

So if you take a good woofer speaker and can remove the magnet without destroying anything else, then put it back with a protective sheet in between to not scratch or short the windings, them possible  play with the height of the toroid in relation to the moving speaker coil that becomes the drive coil, there may be a small point in that relation that produces a very pointal conveyance of the speaker coil movement to the vertical inner center portion of the toroidal coils to produce output. The speaker coil moving will consume peanuts in terms of energy. As the toroid coils become more and more energized this changes the speaker magnets overall strength and causes a compounding effect on the output.

So the LTPU could have at least 10 of these toroid TPUs inside it (two vissible and eight hidden). That's why he used bailing wire so each toroid would be held in space vertically inside the LTPU walls. When he swiped the exterior of the LTPU wall with his hand magnet and let the magnet free for a second it stuck to the sidewall probably sticking to the top part of a toroid which itself is a speaker magnet. By sliding the magnet around the outer LTPU wall, he can sense each hidden toroid and determine if they are functional by feeling a pulsing in his hand.

He made one discovery and used it in each one of his TPUs. One discovery would be all we need to figure out with some bench time.
If his MTPU had one toroid visible and four more hidden in the outer walls, then the LTPU showed two outer toroids and he could have two times four making 8 toroids hidden inside the outer LTPU walls, this "could" explain it all.

"Could" being the code word for still being highly presumptive while providing at least a logic base to continue from.

Again in Spin Conveyance the Atom is the hero that holds all the energy prowess. Make a small vector part of a wire change or SWAY the nuclei and that sway will convey and grow. By having a speaker coil vibrate inside the center of the magnet toroid each turn gets a small vector impulse, that impulse pushes the next turn even more and more like a canon firing into another canon.

Hmmmmmm. Some stuff to try now. hahahaha

wattsup

Added: You need the speaker magnet to enable the speaker coil to oscillate. You need two or more coils on the speaker magnet to sense that oscillation and provide output. The speaker magnet then also provides the two toroid coils a strong biasing of the copper nuclei latent state to hold in one position while the speaker coil makes the nuclei sway with much more torque given the magnet bias is always there to spring the nuclei back. The speaker coil energizes, sways the toroid coil nuclei and at off, the speaker magnet returns the nuclei to their held position.

Got your PM. This weekend I will make a mock up and do a video. It will be better then trying to draw it out. The advantage we have is we are not concerned about "hiding" things and this probably took triple time for SM to build his TPUs always with that fear of spilling the beans.

So this is what I mean and there could be variations thereof.

Had the speaker magnet and wound coils already for long ago tests. Wire is a little thin but by chance, I found a midrange speaker. Took four screws off. Turned it over and surprise, perfect fit. So this is what I will be playing with during the weekend. Plus the "inherent" frequency of 5000 hertz is more midrange then woofer so this will tie in maybe dimensionaly and physically with what SM would have had available to him.

I have two mid-range speakers so I will eventually try it with two on the same toroid, one of each side like he could have inside the LTPU outer walls. That would be analog to his question of "What could two fields going in opposite directions do?".

Components like this one are a potential. Maybe the metal plate below the SM toroid is a mid-range speaker coil of some particular model. Like this one......

I am tracking with you. This is a circular version of the 6 inch wire configuration we did years ago.
This new build has the North face up in a bucking coil winding configuration.
Simple build. I can make other toroid windings with them in a continuous fashion.
The magnets are weak radio shack axial toroids.
I fill finish the second one tonight and then I will test.
Your mention of a metal plate could simply be an aluminum square to cause a bottom compression of the flux upward. Did that before too. It also causes very sharp discharge off the edges. This is another easy item to add.

Two bucking fields will manipulate the N/S stability of the toroid magnet momentarily. Maybe this config will gently rock the bias like tapping a water balloon sitting on a table top.

My mid-range has a cut in the wire right at the voice coil. I will try to fix it but the wire is so thin. Otherwise I will have to removed the winding and put on a new one with slightly thicker wire and less turns. Will do this today. Dammit.

@Wattsup,
The question I have is why not just wind your own tors with the wire gauge that SM used? It looks like 24 to 22. Maybe even 20. And I bet it is stranded. Looks to be a circular Tesla coil of sorts / bucking. The winding we see is the primary and the magnetic bias is the capacitive charge of the the secondary. No matter what the configuration, it is always a square pulse into a pre-existing magnetic field. At least that is what I consistently saw and still see.

Good video and sharp to see those Dragon Tale waveforms. I could not figure how the scope was set but it seems the time div was very low so we could only see one part of a complete cycle if i am not mistaken.

I have a few questions on that videos configuration to better understand.
Are you using two separate FG's?
If so can you adjust an offset between them?
Also, have you tried pulsing the same way but remove the pulse negative and go higher frequencies just to see if there is a resonance point in the 1-6MHz range.

In your trials, where do you anticipate or how do you anticipate producing a point where gain can be accumulated? You see inmy trial I am pulsing a center coil and tanking the toroid coils. Where can you tank on yours?

Since you now have a baseline, listen if you chance by a larger speaker magnet, it would be important to try your same test as in your video with a larger magnet to see if the same effect is there and if so is it stronger or weaker then the smaller single toroid test you made when using the same wire and pulse settings. This will be important to know if the coil wire thickness has to be better matched to the size of the toroid. If wire is very important, it may be that the wire awg is just as important as any wire type and any thicker or thinner and the effect does not happen.

I am saying this because on mine with the thinner wire wound directly onto the magnet core, I think the wire is just held in stasis because the awg is just not high enough to offer any room for conveyance. The thin wire copper atoms cannot sway as they should because of the total magnet volume. I will put a wrapping of tape around the magnet just to give the wire some distance from the magnet surface. SM could have dunked his in some type of epoxy or white schellac then wound the coils on that.

I'm attaching an old drawing I made way back on the center torroid. That's what I will be trying.

My trials. OK, I took apart my second mid-range and it works fine. The problem is the mid-range voice coil is held very tightly with little spring action and when I pulse it, the toroid coils are picking up very little because of the thin toroid coil wires, the tightness of the voice coil . But this is all great news for me because I learned that on this mid-range speaker, because the voice coil is sooo tight, the manufacturer had to use a much larger speaker magnet as shown in my pictures above. So if SM was using a much smaller toroidal speaker magnet if there was a voice inside the center, it would have to be more responsive then what i have now, so most probably a woofer voice coil is much more responsive. That is great news.

So I will tabulate some specifics of this current trial at certain frequencies and keep those as a baseline then change my coil for thicker wire and let you know how it goes. I will also use various types of components for center pulsing. Also i will look for other speaker magnets. There is something in this that deserves attention.

@Wattsup,
I took what you wrote and pondered greatly applying to my previous tests.
In this time I see the Kunel patent come to light again.
I set it up to see.
I believe that the Kunel patent shows the simplest of setups to commandere the flux.
Here is the video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ugDAjKoqY2w&feature=youtu.be)
I am striving to minimize the build or complexity down to the least amount of terms.
This includes winding toroids which can be exhausting for each build.
I believe with this latest build it enables me to get right at the main point and that is to bounce the field.
What do you think?
Time permitting I will move the reader coil into the air gap and pulse it in synch with the electromagnet pulsing or vary the frequencies.

Sorry I have been out of it for the last few days. My business partner of 28 years in our water treatment company just passed away on the 29th. So I have been kind of distracted on my bench works. His funeral is Sunday so as of next week, I should be back in the swing of things and undertake phase two of my toroid studies. My brain is still in shock cause this was very sudden. Shortness of breath, go to the hospital one day, come out horizontal three days later after dying of a heart attack.

I am sure we are on the right tracks, you on one track and me in the other trying various complimentary facets of this magnet core. I will try a more flexible center voice coil because right now the output on the toroidal coils is not good enough to discuss. I want to also try and place a small motor in the center that will turn two magnets inside the center. That may also be an way that could explain the slight vibration. Inherent frequency of 5000Hz could be 5000 divided by 32 turns per toroid coil or 156 rpm, slow turning but maybe enough to create some dc with slight AC hash. hahaha Even in the hardest moments, you cannot get your mind off this stuff.

Back soon.

Sorry to hear about your partner. Heart attacks early in the week are caused by dehydration. This age group suffers from prostrate problems of either can't go or can't control. This later group tends to limit their intake of fluids which leads to dehydration. Then at the start of an event the exertion stresses the body which the system is lacking lower levels of vital fluids. Just thought you would like to know.

Also I enjoyed your mentioning motors. In 1996 I became the inventor of tactical feedback for prosthetic hands by attaching pager motors to resistive fingertip pads for variable speed. I know the vibrations your are talking about. And also motors are revolving sparkgap generators.

That being said my my step is to try this:

@Wattsup,
I watched those videos. I like the iron powder usage. The bucking coils produce the kick SM talked about.
This is a simple way to produce a stun gun like EMP.
In regards to the single wire looped back up at each end. If one were to cross them and loop each up on the other side of where each came through one would have a single loop directional pick up loop right in line with the center part of the windings. This completes another of the coils in the Q multiplier circuit. I was going round and round as to where the 3 loops are. This answers it.
Also in looking at the center tpu toroids picture at the beginning of this thread, I see the white wire that looks to be going nowhere. Funny. It is either a dead end or an antenna.

OK, also, I looked into Spheric Audio Laboratories. I found this new products column in a magazine going back t 1994. It is a short read but one thing jumps out at me. They describe the Krystol System II speakers as having a 1" tweeter and a 4" ferro-fluid filled midrange speaker. Hmmmm.
Ferro-fluid?

The link to the article is here:

I also grabbed the text and the photo and put it below.

I also found an article on ferro-fluid in speaker and attached it below.

Also this Ebay link shows a Radio Shack midrange speaker available in those years.

Found this web page on speaker construction.

http://www.taga-audio.com/menu,156,diamond
There is a picture of a crossover, see the yellow caps. Usually for the midrange crossover all you need is one capacitor.

We see the toroid in SM FTPU and MTPU and LTPU. In the FTPU, he turned it upside down and the TPU started to wind down slowly. The MTPU and LTPU were way to big to start turning upside down to show the problem was solved. The OTPU had also a Toroid under the rings and tucked in the back of the vertical plate but we cannot determine if it is an identical toroid as the FTPU. The STPU and 6TPU both solved the upside down problem but the toroid or toroids (smaller the the FTPU) are not visible so they could have a dual voice coil.

Normal speakers use a center yoke that takes the top of the magnet polarity and sends it inside the center of the voice coil while the bottom magnet polarity is used to encircle the voice coil hence both polarities become available to the voice to produce a positive or negative impulse hence movement. Something is missing in the FTPU that is included in the SPTU and 6TPU. As for the toroid we see in the MTPU and the two we see in the LTPU they could be visible duds with the real toroids hidden around and inside the outer ring. Don't know if this makes sense or if I am explaining it well enough.

Anyways, let's see how it goes.

The bucking coils produce the kick SM talked about.
Hi guys :)

I would like to add something to think about in that specific case.
The bucking coils in toroid also produce current kick when the external resonant high voltage discharge happen as nanosecond pulse. For that case you apply initial voltage and small current to the bucking coil from the driving circuit.
There was rumor about that as well - in one of Russian TPU variants it was tried to put foil underneath coils (as not shorted coil) and apply spikes from the Tesla coil to it. For the initial current and voltage there was additional winding on 90 degrees to the collector coil after driving coils.

Also there is good read about effect which gives additional electrons on wire:
Pulling electrons out of metal_Eyring_cf_1923 (http://www.overunityresearch.com/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=2261.0;attach=11404)

If you got time to experiment with that something interesting may be found on how TPU worked in SM case... ;)

Cheers!

@T-1000,
I had used this technique in previous tests where I sandwiched my coil between aluminum discs. As the pulses fired the field would be extreme. It was compressed against the plates and the edges produced blue and purple sparks. This then in turn would incandescent lamps to glow. Otherwise one would not SEE anything.

One wire resonant energy excitation:
There is only one wire from the siggen connected. No ground anywhere. It is like SM stated. This configuration floats.
The next configuration actually blows LEDS. I now need to either add more LEDS in the serial chain to use as an indicator when I increase the output or leave it at two and then progress into the isolation of the power output.
This unit resonates at 8Mhz using a siggen. In the next one I use repurposed stungutz to achieve the broadband transmissions.

The oscilloscope is never connected directly to this one or afterwards. :o
And take notice that this build is still maintaining the look and feel of SM's Large TPU.
But there are many slick tricks in this one. It's a mobius monster!

Hi GK

At one time I also suspected SM may have used 300 ohm TV balanced cable as it appears that way in some of the older blurry videos.

But I ran into this new video which I had not seen before. It seems our old friend Chris Sykes (hyiq.org) somehow got his hands on this one. It clearly shows only heavy horizontal windings, about 9 or 3 groups of 3 turns. The 7" device does seem to have vertical windings not very tightly wound. This video seems to agree with the 1996 short video with the long second part of Brian Collins blowing a lot of smoke.

Here it is, narrated by Brian Collins. It would be nice to hear the original narrated by SM himself.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26QqUKoQpO4

Also there is another video posted by Chris that is more complete than others I have seen, although parts of it have been spliced from older videos, still there are new things to be seen.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_hWI6LKmZ7w

So it seems that only the smaller 7" units have vertical windings and the later 15 and 17" units may have vertical windings.....hard to tell on the 17 because of all the tape.

If you would kindly post a rough schematic of what you have come up with, I would be happy to comment on it.

Regards

Don't need to supply schematic. What you said is exactly what Wattsup had posted to us in previous months.
Each winding group becomes a helical antenna transmitting/projecting an impulse wave on the next winding group which has its bias.
This equates to the squeezing. In this model you and Wattsup propose all that is needed is the diameter of the groups, number of turns each, and distance between each winding and group or the node/anti-node position.
My tests all along except for Wattsup's leads and the GK4 have been one group on a bias. I was striving to break the unit down into understandable sections. I believe I have beat the dead horse into dust.
If this is so apparent why do we see it now 11 years later?

The description is '90 coupling happens with iron or steel.' I mention this in the video.

With that in mind look at the picture:
The green wire is iron wire. It is horizontally parallel with lamp wire horizontal internal loops. The green wires are made into a loop making it a low ferrous core.
The lamp wire is made into a multi-layer loop in accordance with specifications of a direction antenna. The two feeds run through the SWR cores. The cores are magnetic to simulate a heavier core.
As the siggenny on the left feeds the lamp wire feeds those feeds find their way through the mag cores stimulating the magnet wire couplers. The couplers are bihalves. Both sides are fed by the lamp wire horizontals in another loop.
Two LEDs sit on one half. Series caps and diodes on the other half to store activity.
The wiring creates additional transformer couplings. The ferrous loops pickup the action vertically and horizontally.

I have a one stage charge pump. The input is 20vpp over a 50ohm load.

In the vids the open face shows two helical CB antennas oppositely wound.

The horizontal part of the configuration is made up of numerous large lamp wire, copper loop directional antennas arranged in parallel with ferrous loops. This facilitates parts of the High Q multiplying antenna circuit. That schematic has been posted in this thread.
The loop antennas are enclosed in a helical burst transmission antenna of twin lead which facilitates the squeezing. As the bursts emit out of the far end of the helical they impact the input side of the helical, hence my avatar, a circular Tesla coil which just happens to be the place where the fuses/spark gaps are placed. The TPU is a resonant & noisy beast.

The ferrous loops couple the activity from all angles and then induct that into the parallel copper loops. The center stage of the stun gun is a Wardencliffe tower folded back unto itself. Instead of using the external environment as storage or emission, the stun gun charge pump keeps the activity in an internal feedback stage. I made the twin lead helical as part of the charge pump circuit of the stun gun. Helical 'A'  in the top part and the helical 'B' in the bottom part, opposed and unopposed. I have also put helical 'A' in the top part and biased helical 'B' with D.C. and a bandwidth of frequencies. I have yet to analyze this test. At this time when using stungutz there can be no direct attachment of any test tools. I am applying tuning next to narrow the FFT display into bands or a single band.

Electromatic traunche.
On the simplest of schematics you will see the TPU: https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1&biw=1920&bih=955&tbm=isch&sa=1&ei=AtnMWqfPOcWkzwKShamACA&q=Q+multiplying+Loop+Antenna+schematics&oq=Q+multiplying+Loop+Antenna+schematics&gs_l=psy-ab.3...2102652.2118462.0.2121318.36.25.0.0.0.0.192.2492.12j11.23.0....0...1c.1.64.psy-ab..17.0.0....0._G68pMhmng8 (https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1&biw=1920&bih=955&tbm=isch&sa=1&ei=AtnMWqfPOcWkzwKShamACA&q=Q+multiplying+Loop+Antenna+schematics&oq=Q+multiplying+Loop+Antenna+schematics&gs_l=psy-ab.3...2102652.2118462.0.2121318.36.25.0.0.0.0.192.2492.12j11.23.0....0...1c.1.64.psy-ab..17.0.0....0._G68pMhmng8)

The model I am following is using the available views of the large TPU with the components we see, the loops we know about and how they can be driven to create a magnetic storage device. My belief is the thumping is caused by the intersection of waves.

The answer is in wave analysis:

Hi GK

This is where I am ATM.

Magnetic loops are interleaved with each other, the crystal frequency above 20Khz

This is wave field interference at the electro magnetic domain between the two antennas.

Probably way of track here, but there seems to be a discrepancy in the frequency claims by SM. In the later video's,he claims a frequency of 5KHz. People claim to feel the TPU vibrating, but you wouldnt feel a vibration at that frequency.

In one of the earlier videos,he claimed a frequency of just 7.3Hz.
Is it possible he meant 7.83Hz ?is there any way the shuman cavity could be pumped to produce what we see from the TPU ?.

Hi Brad

Vibration would depend on how free the coils are wound, a voice coil vibrates with a magnet up to audible 20Khz, and beyond, but not audible, but you could feel it.

Peter said that SM used a crystal oscillator at some point, that got me thinking. Then SM talked about when the two frequencies come together!!!!!

I think a crystal because he wanted exact 50% duty in a square wave.

The two frequencies can be the same and probably better being the same. I think it is like two cars hitting head on, but here we have electromagnetic fields which have also an interference factor with maybe the earths magnetic field between them, or something in the wire used in the loop (iron).

I think the TPU is just over a cop of 1, and why it takes a few seconds to get up to full output, it has to wind up ;)  At least step stages.

Like PM, I to am looking at the huge currents formed in "antennas", voltage is not a problem, boost circuits give you the voltage.

Tnx. That is a good and seems a complete read on the subject of intersecting waves. In the past I had posted numerous times on eclipsing waves. It started with the GK4 and went on to rogue ocean waves and a definate event that all experienced sailors know.
And that schematic shows another charge pump held in place by the diodes.

Here is a document that most of you have read. I have held this one near and dear to me for a long time for it exposes the model of operation and some configuration.
Mannix posted a lot. We all have sided against him in numerous fashion because he seemed like a con man or charlatan. But he sent me a picture one time that was so simple it shocked me quite a bit. This got me thinking about the story so I went further back and pulled his King story. After years of experience later it made perfect sense with additional insight now gained. I have purposely left the misspellings intact and expounded on those. Am I grasping at straws? I don't think so. I believe SM and Mannix were tag teaming against the PowersThatBe. Both were cryptic, acted like salesmen, seemed shady to some, expressed very little technical yet gave great and eye opening analogies, which I believe were their ways of getting this out. Why one would take that chance is beyond me...
So here is the King's story and my insertions:

The King's Story
Wunce(So it would show up in Google as a lone document) upon a time in a microsecond far away in a land under the noses of all,
The length of the wire is 1 megahertz or we are in the Megahertz range. Under the nose, the mouth emits frequencies.
there were some electrons which were sent on a trip around the world by their king.
Pulsing is the connotation here by the term 'Some'.
Their destination was a place near their home but they were sent the longest way possible.
The 'C' shaped path. We have seen this alot.

Their king told them that it was  so that they could meet as many friends as possible on the way
Forward pulse running into many reflections from the 'Long way around'.
They were told  that if they were lucky enough to meet some friends they could have a big party and celebrate with them and invite a few back for a visit.
Reflections into reflections
So their king gave them a big kick
EMP from a stun gun or square pulses. We start out with sine waves for tuning then switch to square waves.
to send them on their way and arranged to meet them back where they started,
Pulses in phase with reflections
he showed them the other end of the wire just behind them.
A 'C' shaped loop
"See you at the arranged time, back here" he said and off they went!
Timed pulses.

Some short time later the king sent some more groups of his favourite electrons on a similar journey, down another wire . He did this a few times.
A pulsing stream.
After a while he lost track of how many he had sent
Frequency doesn't matter or free running
and was worried that they all might arrive back at his castle together and crash int each other.
An amplitude greater than the capacity of the path. 'Worried' connotes pulses and reflections being 'in phase'.
The king was worried about this  so he disconnected the return wires before any of them arrived home.
Another connotation of square pulses inducing greater 'in phase' reflections with bemf from collapse. The 2 switches in the 17 inch TPU are kill switches. The potentiometer is a 'Phasing' adjustment'
He wondered whether they might get lost but was more worried about them colliding with each other in his castle on their return home "Oh dear!.. What Have I done?" he said.
Interesting Mannix mentions 'worried' three times in three sequential sentences.
A diode in place somewhere at the start of the pulse stream. This connotes a charge pump similar to the middle stage of a stun gun.
Meanwhile the electrons were still on their merry way twisting and turning. round and round
Rotating magnetic field or flux field and spin conveyance or momentum. Also the in phase amplitude of the transmissions and reflections overlapping each other.
I my large suspended ring test I was able to see the pulsating field on my swr meter using audio circuitry.
when they noticed that their end connection was somehow ,gone ...What had happened
More phasing alignment with other reflections. Open ended transmission line to increase reflection amplitude. So think of the reflections of a bemf!

? they also saw some other electrons nearby
Identified as phasing being just a bit off and or a resonant field.
that they recognizsed
An 'S' instead of a 'Z'. Sine wave perhaps?
and so they met up and had a party.
This is a feedback control implication of self-destructive operation
What big party it was.
Operation is just right.
They all met and danced and sang and in the process many more electrons joined in the party, even ones that were not sent by the king.
Additive feedback and ambient energy. And charge pumpiing.

this created a few fights and some confusion but all the other electrons from all around heard about the party and sent messages to all their friends
Power accumulation greater than the device specifications. And heat.

. Obviously the place was not big enough, but as it happened ,just nearby there was a wonderful piece of wire which seemed to have an even better way home and it was a bigger wire with much more room . They told their friends and  almost the whole party jumped over to the other piece of wire so that they might get home the short way. The uninvited guests were really getting out of hand at this point so It really was a case of either jump or be pushed so they jumped..the only trouble was that all the uninvited guests followed them and their friends and their friends as well, and they just kept on  comming .(mmmmmm many windings)
Power extraction by induction to a larger current capable configuration.
Nobody told any one that the party was over and not to come. .
The device self-oscillates.
When all the kings electrons came rushing home thru the other big wire that was not for his travellers. the king was  relieved that they had taken the shortcut  ..
The reflections are a viable source of current. The inductive process is the way to extract energy. This statement lead me to helicals. That is why I posted the wave fluidics picture. Those wave sections cross over the gap to impact the starting cycle.

but when he saw all he other uninvited guests he realised that disconnecting the main return wire was a bad mistake.
It is imperative to add a load to clamp down the self oscillation build up. The disconnection process will cause a large back EMP and cause self-destruction.
He grabbed a few of them and put them to work ...he was able to send some of the  others back down the origional wire in the hope that they would find another king to annoy
The device runs itself. The reflections are controlled or monitored.
But there were too many of them so he quickly found another big wire that led somewhhere else and joined them together. he managed to get most othe uninvited guest to go down that one, away form his kingdom.. told them tell the others that the party was over but they were having such fun ,weaving and winding ..jumpung(he uses a u instead of an i, a scope signal?) and pushing.  It did not take long for the king to have so many electrons passing by
Either there is another circling path or he speaks of feedback into the amplification stage. Also this connotes dual rings.
that he had no way of dealing with them  so he would sometimes go down to the big wire and watch all the free loaders whizz(2 'Z's) by . He would tell some of them that the pary(Missing T as in parrying. ward off (a weapon or attack), especially with a countermove) was over but they just kept whizzing by faster and faster.  He even sent some of them down the bing weavy wire to let the others know that the party was over, but it didn't work. He gave up after a while and  left them to it and went off somewhere else hoping that nobody would notice ..Im told that he went to a power generator where none of this sillynes(missing the second 's') could happen to him again an all the electrons had things to stop them from being so silly.   (As in out of control)
Power companies have regulation in place. The destructive resonance implied here is very real. The industry avoids this energy build up like the plague.
Fidelity...

Mannix was, lets call him a sidekick of Steven who talked with investors in more human terms. SM was the techno guy. So they tag teamed the public. Don't worry about the history and I wont belabor you or anybody with unnecessaries. Sm did this story twice. Once with Mannix and once with the guy whom he gave the brown paper schematics to. So SM released two categories of information. The operation and the composition. The King's story is the operation with wave analysis analogies thrown in and the brown paper schematic is many facets of the operation minus the wave theory.
Here is the brown paper and my analysis in further posts.
https://www.overunityresearch.com/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=356.0;attach=25980;image (https://www.overunityresearch.com/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=356.0;attach=25980;image)
It has always been my suspicion that SM was pulling descriptions out of the air to try to get an explanation out to the public of things he could not talk about. His two best ones were the magnet swiping on the outside and the clamp meter on the inside. Absolute Gold.

'Nuff sed...

The wave analysis is what has always been missing or the readers never crossed into this arena of operation. And this is because this is the one thing SM could not talk about. The thumping subject could not be avoided but was always glossed over in the demonstrations and tech talk. For eleven years I have had no conversations with CB'ers or Antenna freaks. Its always motors, Tesla and power people. Not to say this is bad but more along the lines of incomplete. The focus has been on motor phasing and armatures. What people could see. I tried to pull Eric Dollard in but he was in trouble and wouldn't answer back. Or this TPU works so well in his view that it is taboo. And this is very apparent with what his background is. And the powers that be were up his backside a lot, which Eric talks about a lot also. SM handled the devices very gingerly because in my experience the device is very dangerous(which SM mentioned a lot). Along those lines as the reverse engineering process continues one has to realize that the first safe phase is merely connecting things and powering on with common tools connected. Then the next phase is achieving the corresponding wave impacts. I did this haphazardly with the GK4(read 'open face microwave oven') and the waves were too short to be contained within the safe operation of the unit. I garnered a lot of public attention from this step. After achieving the correct resonant operation comes the power extraction.

The rule to gain ground in this effort is: No schematics and no public demos. This will keep one safe and to outsiders the efforts all look like B.S. No one will be the wiser.
Explanations can fly all day long... I have capitalized on this one facet of human thinking and belief mechanisms. And it works.
At this point I have another video to make to show another separated facet of operation. Its on my short term bucket list. So are death and taxes, the obviously unplanned and mandatory. The video corresponds with the contractual end of my zecurity klearance. The unit and T.S.S. are in no way connected but I am not taking any chances. And this doesn't make me somebody or something I am not. I am merely safely enjoying the ride...

Interesting diagram: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Class-D_amplifier (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Class-D_amplifier)

So again, where are the antenna freaks in all this?

Thanks GK

Well I think I have more or less it worked out.

I'm doing a new build ATM, the wave interference is going to take some setting up I think, but all in time.

The problem has always been collecting the current and phasing with the voltage at the output.

I have used half bridges in the past for power collection so as to separate the input from the output. This is where I am going and will post a new circuit for this when I have it written up (power return).

Thanks for your replies.

What JDO300 and I found out is that at the higher speeds the power jumps across the diode. This is because the power is highly magnetic and sees the leads on both sides of the diode and attaches there, thereby crossing of the junction. This is pure Tesla. All metals become charged. Tesla mentioned door knobs becoming charged. In his day they were brass or glass.

The brown paper circuits, did anyone really look hard at them? like the IC c339 pin numbers do not register correctly. I can understand using this IC but why mark the pin numbers incorrectly?

You said you did not know why antenna boff's did not comment! well I'm a radio ham and I truly believe the TPU is using a multi frequency mag loops, (only need two) it has everything going for it, plus I have worked with multi frequency "interference", for the lack of a word to use.

I can see driving two loops with different frequencies, will produce some interesting results, the split is important if heterodyning is required (6X), been there before, it has considerable media space reaction in the near field (electromagnetic and not electric).

So loops are the way to go, they are magnetic in the near field and changing to electric in the far field.

More to come, I'm on a role ;D

The one thing that has been missed in reading the documents is that the antennas have to be magnetic loops and not dipoles,so as to radiate magnetic waves in the near field and not electric. This is the missing link of not changing the impedance with two antennas at zero distance to one another and so needing to increase input which would give no OU gain.

Could use the same frequency for both it seems, just keep the phasing right, 8)

I have been perusing different types of feedback to trigger the self correction of the resonance and came up with this nifty idea.
http://www.555-timer-circuits.com/metal-detector.html (http://www.555-timer-circuits.com/metal-detector.html)
This gives a shift in frequency as output. Should fit quite cleanly into an fm control operation.
The other circuit I have been toying with is a dual one shot delay serially connected triggered by a reflection back down the transmission line.
I will post further when I get something going.
Right now I am mentally juggling the inclusion points.

I have another hidden gem I think I found that I have to check out.
The LTPU is a masterpiece of engineering with everything well hidden and pretty much every thing is tidey-ed up in black, except the yellow capacitors and the white goo around the inside base.
My suspicion leads me to believe this is a return line back to the control port in the back gap. This lends the ability to send pulses in two directions along a side of the unit, meaning the unit is actually two halves.
Also in the LTPU prototype that I built I have the gap facing me. That is this is my point of entry.
What if SM spun his device around 180' to give the tester a way to grab the device to shift it to feel the vibration? I'd be willing to bet SM was very excited with himself when he realized that this presentation further obfuscates the device operation.

Suppose SM was using a specially modified Speaker Magnet
Voice Coil assembly (minus the large cone) as both the
Exciter and the Generator?  Could it be that at 'resonance'
of the unit that something magical happens?  Perhaps it was
a dual winding voice coil assembly; one winding as the
Input and the other as the Output.  Quite large necessarily.

SM was. after all, a speaker guy wasn't he?

Thy physical movement (vibration) of the Voice Coil could
account for some the the sensations reported by observers.

The 555 is a very useful device.  Some very interesting
capabilities.

pulse HV to a coil near a magnet

The magnet will jump all over the place

Supposedly SM discovered this with a bifilar voice coil speaker when one of the bifilar wires was delayed about 220ns (delay value per Peter's experiments).  this delayed bifilar compresses the pulse, so skip that and just apply an HV pulse.

I'd venture a guess that the pulse speeds up the angular momentum of the electrons creating the magnetic field, or the space carrying the field, increasing the magnetic field for the price of a change in potential.

easy enough to see it, just try it

Yep, I shall. Stun gun gives the easiest way to get the HV also.
Hmmm, @ Grumpy you made me think of another avenue. I have long and large diameter iron wire windings around my LTPU. A small magnet applied and then shock the wire. Breaking the field cohesiveness this way is the same as a flux line crossing a copper wire. The flux line has to break then recompose to cross the gap of diamagnetism producing current in the conductor.

In the second test of the GK4 the applied voltage was 48vdc, with neodymium cow magnets in the center.
As I applied the 3 frequency pulsing, which was not 3 phase but unsynch'd pulse scheme, the magnets jumped around.
This is a model of a standard dc motor but with a twist:
The pulsing to the coils was not caused by the intermittent stator conduction but by the random eclipsing of three frequencies.

The Kunel device has a field disrupter between two coils and reads the ringing from the recombinate fields. Same as the Magnacoaster device.

Yep. That is today. I realized the FE wire coil and the magnet were too attracted to each other.
Simple steps I take will be to repel a magnet and then make a little jig to hold a magnet suspended by rubber and then vibrate it that way.
This sounds like it could be done with a relay at this point but we are talking about watching the field perturbations.

I have found that a magnetometer has very fast response and is very useful for  detecting strength and direction of mag fields.

they can be read at up to 400khz.

There are many simple compass programs about, our diy drone friends have made sure of that.
I believe we are higher than 400khz. I measure up in the 10s of megahertz.
We will see what the reader coil shows.
But then again Marco's dancing magnets were oscillating at 7.8hz.

Stun gun setup did not move magnet. Frequency too high @ 5.2Mhz. Voltage on reader coil was ~400v
Had a cabinet magnet sitting in line with a driver coil that was in series with the spark terminals
Will setup next test for a single HV strike.
Scopeshot of pulse on my new Rigol scope.
On the scope I applied the hack to get from 50mhz to 100mhz. Saved myself a huge amount of coin. Also I bought this with Bitcoin earnings. Basically free.

My HV power supply died.
The MOT has an open.
My replacement has a short.
I have another on order.
I can use the plain varistor up to 140vac for now.
Spent last two days screwing around with this.
Am now ready to test with 5k-20khz @ 100 volts.
Let the fun begin.

By now you should have noticed that moving an electric field perpendicular to a static magnetic field will induce a current in a conductor located in both of these fields.  Armed with this fact, the arrangement of coils use in the various TPU's becomes almost obvious.

Got my HV power supply fixed and running.
Schematic of latest circuit shown.
Moving magnet all around shows no anomalies.
The Atten can not drive the SSRB fet.
The Koolertron has excessive ringing on off time.

GK,

If you haven't already tried this, the schematic below shows a simple driver for mosfets or IGBTs from a signal generator.  About any small complimentary pair will work like 2N4124/2N4126, 2N2222/2N2907, or I prefer the high frequency/high current ZTX453/ZTX553.  The power supply should match the peak voltage that your generator waveform will reach.

I think you will need much higher voltage and the anomaly is that the hv makes the magnet move.

@Partzman,Thanks. I had been using a 50 ohm to ground as an interface to the SSRB boards that JDO300 had designed. Schematic attached. I think I forgot to include this in other posts before. But there are differences between my two signal generators. I like the Atten but is only goes to 5Mhz with a TTL 20Mhz discrete port in the back. It is battle tank though though. I will build the circuit you mentioned because I want this to work in a wider range of applications. This last statement is a joke because the TPU is my LAST project aside from the involuntary life chaos that sometimes happens. Hahaha. In case no one has noticed.

@Grumpy,I have not tested this new HVPS to the max. The varactor is rated at 5kva / 5 amp fuse. Picture posted. It is an open build and I have to test cautiously to prevent arcing and cross lead sparking. If I have to bring out my EC6000 supply I will. It is a 45lb beast that I need to make room on the bench for. For now I will raise the HVPS voltage setting. Even though the configuration of the HVPS are the same i.e. Varactor to MOT to HV diode bridge caution has to be taken individually because they do not all perform the same way. This config is 3rd MOT, 2nd varactor, and 2nd diode bridge. Pic attached. I know it ugly but it definitely has got pump power.

But let me reiterate this. The GK4 did push magnets on the first test. Fried my right hand thumb nerves. I used 1/2 amp at 48 volts to drive that bundle of technology and the Neodymium eggs danced  like rabid cats in a bag. Even caused chipping on the casing. Basically a motor rotor without an axle. But what I have seen is the Neos have a shorter ring time than weaker cabinet magnets. The cabinet magnets are very close to being a core type material. I have always wondered what a neodymium core would do. Maybe that is part of the dark electronics of UFOs. Haven't seen anything about this configuration and it seems to be worth pursuing in the future.
But this was also enabled by the 3 eclipsing frequencies.

There is a difference between a moving magnet and one that rings back when immovable.

Oh yeah, I had forgotten about the GK4.

Anyway, it's to show that a changing electric field interacts with a static magnetic field.

The different TPU configurations all place a rotating electric field perpendicular to a static magnetic field, and so do both of spherics' devices.

Marco's dancing magnets.
A lot has gone by. I still ponder over powering up the GK4 again. But then I realize I can just jerry rig the door switch on my microwave oven to leave the door open to reproduce the same event.
My 48v GK4 test had led me to believe that one could use lower voltages. And they can.
But the additional angular alignment is then added to the mix. I forgot about the Spherics too. And I had posted about this of the GK4 being a randomized open face microwave then Spherics showed the actuation of control angles to enable the event in controlled manor. That is when I knew Spherics was in the atomic sciences.
Any way back to bench for me right now. I have to test my HVPS to find the higher possible operating voltage limit.

If I had time, I would wind up a TPU with the collector in the center like SM described to prove it works.

Three horizontal collectors, electric field coils (sequentially pulsed) wrapped around the collectors, and the static magnetic field around the electric field coils.  Poloidal winding is a pain though.  Probably do the e-field coils in segments and then run the control coils through them and pull them into a circle.

The electric field coil can be wrapped on polystyrene tubing the slipped over the collector.

Or just use radio shack wired spools.

I have alot of these in inventory that I will just pull out and do a test.

This way a copper or FE collector will show the difference.

I have a number of these in posts across the planet.

Don't want to search that out but skip the distractions.
But really don't need a full TPU to show this. An single turn FE loop with a shack spool on it would suffice. Got that in inventory too.

But the real secret is using the FE wire instead of a plasma core.

Status on HVPS: Works great. Burnt a 5w ceramic resistor open.

Next combination.

These tests will not produce amperage as there is a break in the flux line, one with the power supply and two with the amp meter.

Hello everyone,
Been juggling too much life lately and have to take a break.
I got to wondering about injecting 2 mixed frequencies into a single Tesla coil primary then splitting them into tuned tanks of the dual secondaries comprised of twin lead antenna wire. Its a Tesla coil with an air core.
I have seen very complicated radio circuits that deal with multiple frequencies but i am trying to keep it simple.
The drawing shows how simplistic I want this to be. I tried modelling in Falstad simulator but there seems to be inherent misgivings about its operation.
If a single primary is not possible then I added the dual primary design.I start with a secondary that is already built. It is 5" diameter and an inductance of 18uh and 53 turns. There is an inherent capacitance of 290pf. The primary is 16 turns of a single side of lamp wire.
Thanks in advance.

Interesting thought!

Will your secondary windings differ to accommodate the two
separate frequencies?  Tuning Capacitors?

Will the two frequencies be fairly close or possibly harmonics?

Are you aiming for the typical High Voltage Tesla Coil output?

I believe it will work.  The concept certainly works with Audio
Transformers.  Multiple frequencies that can be individually
tuned and isolated.

And it works with Receiving Antennae.  Well, sort of.  The Antenna
doesn't resonate at all frequencies but they can easily be
individually tuned and isolated.  Aboard ship we had a single antenna
feeding numerous separate receivers operating at different frequencies.

Some of our Transmitting Antennae were "broadband" and could be used
with several different frequencies at once.

Yes, it should work!

In regards to the two secondaries there will be an offset.
At the start this is a bailywick since I only have the secondary specifications: Wire length, wind diameter, and 18uh of L. I can easily change the primary length.
It is also on a slider sheath to enable moving along the secondary to change the ratio between voltage and current.
Simplicity is in my crawl because I believe this build can be kept looking just like something Tesla would have built. Windings, caps, coils, resistors and diodes and nothing else.
The thing is that when achieved this can be driven by two oscillators or a stungun/broadband.
Once this transmission side is done then that supplies the parameters for receivers.

By building the LTPU from SMs videos with out any frequency specifications except 5khz, square waves, Ring diameter of 17 inches, Radio shack parts, the white HV discharges, the amp meter in the center as a guide I have been able to configure this device in a myriad of ways to research any whim of connections. A remark was made about building this without the specific parameters but I have what they don't, a radio spreadsheet.

I tested the outer ring as an open antenna and found a resonant Freq at 3.2Mhz.
I also tanked it which allows for a bandwidth to play in.
By using audio equipment I have found a toroidal field of 12 feet in diameter. I havent moved the audio equip any further away but I am sure the field is out there even larger.
I am very pleased with this.
I have built different types of center toroids for testing and they all receive, 'just like a radio'. And why not.
With the latest center test rig I then tuned the centers to the ring res freq. This too proved eventful.
The idea was to raise more questions because of the lack of technical specs by SM. I tuned everything using sine waves then switched to squares. Back and forth.

The latest result is the effort to grab a certain freq from within the square wave harmonics. Just curious.

Then main idea is to cause a oscillation of an EMP on the top and bottom horizontals 180 degrees out of sync to achieve the thumping. Sm mentioned the HV on an open cable causing the ends to jump. He gave away so much.

This might not encompass all the constituent parts being tuned to the same frequency of the outer ring but so far its all we have to work with.

I am incorporating a homebrew charge pump to include one side of a toroid of the centers to facilitate the timed EMP like the signal picture shows.

As given to me by Otto:

It might not look like much to the neophyte but this was a pivotal disclosure by some who I felt were not able to tell much more.
And it came after I disclosed the operation of the stun gun. Its all in the history.
The tuning comes from the size of the build. The schematics strewn through past posts all show different attempts at the current acknowledgement of the radio part.
The tuning is critical to the build parameters.
The GK4 had too much FE at its core. Its not about saturation of volume for hysteresis but using the iron to capture activity from any angle and then using that as a conductor instead of looped transformer core.
