Title: Torque is cheap
Post by: JimBoot on 2024.05.10, 15:13:03
I've had an itch I've wanted to scratch even since I packed up my last TFM. Specifically AT and inductance. I keep talking to a mate about it but why not build it and find out :) This is the first run which is pretty rough and I've since halved the current draw and increased speed. I've always found it wasteful to only use half the field in a pulse motor drive coil. Obviously lots of tuning to do and nailing of things down.

Are you referring to the proximity of the magnets to the blades? Thanks
