I saw it last night and I agree with Chris. How can a cable have the force to throw the vehicles upwards? Surely the cable would need to be at multiple heights simultaneously exercising great force.

Interesting how the white horizontal line painted on the road surface seems to bulge upward, then the paint seems to lift off the surface as a dust. When the dust clears, the line is less visible at that particular area. Is this some kind of optical aberration caused by a gravitational anomaly? Or was the paint somehow lifted off the road surface. Frame stepping through that section of the video is interesting.

You can see in the video that the first van that lifts is held in the air and before it falls, there is a large metal plate that falls from under the van. I think that plate was to the left of the van near the guys with the scooter and held the cable steady on that side, then it got pulled to the right as you can see in front the the guys with the scooter something black that moved to the right, got caught under the first van and the line tension increased and raised even if slightly but fast enough to lift the van and the other two vehicles were caught at that moment. Look at 10 seconds into the video and see the plate fall.

You see the plate on a cable fall from the underneath of the van, then as the other cars get tangled the plate goes right back up and the van tilts over. It almost looks like a plate on a spring dangling from under the van, but putting into context of the other car movements, we can see the cause and effect. Man that's one hell of a Wire X. hahahahaha

Hi all.

I just checked on video quickly. There are three moments:
1) The pedestrians crossing white line gets distorted like someone applied magnifying glass photoshop effect; The ending look like nothing happened. Can't that happen with road without damaging it after.
2) The people in the front (bottom) of the screen do not show any reaction and crossed street from the right to left like nothing happened.
3) The tire which fallen from back left of the van gets uplift and back on the van again - looks like someone applied inverted timeframe for makeup.

This raises question about probability on 90%+ of CGI.
