The animal mind ALWAYS reacts to what it does not understand. This is what sets dogs barking. If you are going to tell the truth, you are going to have to be okay with barking dogs, because they will harry your passage until you pass through town.

2020 seems to be shaping up to be a year of great
change, hopefully beneficial to all who reside upon
our Wonderful Planet.

Is the Burden of Debt unsustainable?

Will the U.S. at last be forced to do what is right?

I'm optimistic.  There is potential for quite a lot of good
change to be made in the way the World does business.

I'm running an older computer with Puppy Linux;  the
computer has insufficient memory by today's standards
and a graphics processor that just can't do HTML5 any
justice even though my SeaMonkey Browser has the
latest Flash Player installed.  It also cannot do the most
recent High Efficiency Video Codecs (H.265) so I had to
look for an alternative.  I don't want to get a new computer
because I like Old and Cheap.

The alternative I found was what are known as OnLine
YouTube downloaders.  Plug in the url of the video I wish to
watch and select "download."  Then choose a resolution
of 360p mp4 and, voila, the video plays perfectly full screen!

Also with the option to download should I desire.

I really appreciate what certain TechnoNerds are able to
create and make available to us on the InterNet free of
charge.

The services work with a number of other video sources
as well.   Do a web search for "online video downloader"
or "online youtube downloader."

My browser add-on YouTube Downloader no longer works
because of new YouTube policies.  It seems they're making
it more and more difficult to download videos.

I'm on old computer with Dual core. Invested in SSD disk and more ram and I can watch 720p youtube and videos. Kubuntu is running well with 4GB or ram. I bought this laptop on electronic scrap yard.
Just move on, some things  must change eventually. I have the other one with 1GB ram and single core Celeron with Peperrmint 10 and I must confess I use it to learn patience  O0

Forest,

That the older computers assist (or more accurately demand) our
ability to be patient is very true indeed!

I have been given a couple of newer computers which I haven't tested
yet.  I haven't checked whether they'll take me beyond the 4GB memory
barrier either so I suppose I should get crackin'.

But, I'm sure I'll have to go 64 Bits with more capable CPU and Graphics
in order to be fully compatible with current internet standards...

I do have a new 64 Bit Android TV Box which does some H.265 HEVC
but not all.  It struggles with the highly compressed H.265 videos so
they play clunkily and not smoothly.

It is capable of browsing the web, when it has a keyboard
and mouse attached, by means of its Browser and it does full screen
YouTube with the YouTube Android App very well indeed.  I'm tempted
to use it temporarily in place of my computer just to see how well
it would perform as an alternative.  I'll have to do some research to
see whether anyone has had success with that yet.  I presently use it
for Internet TV and Internet News Streams.

The TV Boxes are really inexpensive from China and come with
the latest version of Android and an assortment of apps pre-
installed.  They have several usb ports which support the
usual peripherals such as keyboard, mouse, hard drive and
pen/thumb drive and some come with 4GB or more of RAM.

They're so tiny it is really hard to believe that they contain so
much power.  This is an older review - the new ones come with
Android 10.

Correction:  They come with Android 9 (Alice)

Further correction:

Android 9 is named Pie
