Suspicious Observers today briefly noted a patent by the Navy - would like to explore this a bit.  Note the novel concept of reducing inertial mass...

The animal mind ALWAYS reacts to what it does not understand. This is what sets dogs barking. If you are going to tell the truth, you are going to have to be okay with barking dogs, because they will harry your passage until you pass through town.

Salvatore Cezar Pais has several patents for stuff like this.

It "implies" that "polarized vacuum" can reduce inertia.

That number isn't a valid civilian patent number. Here is the patent in the standard archive. It might be different.

That is not the patent, it is the patent application.  MuDped gave the patent link in reply 2 but clearly you did not look at it.

Quite right ... that's what happens when someone talks, imo, such crap on the coronavirus front. I assumed it was a link to "thetruthseeker", and therefore to be assumed worthless. But he and you are quite right. It is discouraging to see it assigned to the US Navy. It says the government can use it without payment but not that it is otherwise suppressed.

 Thanks, MudPed!

Interesting article.  The patent makes a difficult but intriguing read.
Not easy to build this one, though...
