Well…. I got to see my Brain today a during and aftermath scan.

It seems the bleed was confined to just a tiny area that has affected my sensory and pain centre of the RHS. The second scan, taken 6 weeks later showed everything has healed perfectly. Obviously there’s some latent damage as I still have trouble walking and the feeling in my right hand and arm is still poor.

Please be aware, one and all. Keep an eye on your blood pressure. Mine had spiked and burst a vessel. I’m told that I’m a very lucky guy….

Still waiting for the PWM to arrive but I now know where to target the therapy.

Cheers Grum.

Yes, and I will need the details like the number of LEDs etc.  Either here in the thread or in email.

If you could keep it in the thread so others can learn please?

Hi Jim,

No problem I can.    8)

The switching circuit the PWM modul would drive could work with either a power MOSFET or a bipolar switching transistor.

Perhaps Graham has some N-channel MOSFETs left from earlier experiences which has a VGS spec of at least +/- 25V or he can purchase this
type:  https://www.mouser.co.uk/ProductDetail/Nexperia/PHP29N08T127?qs=LOCUfHb8d9vPcQhZcGMF4w%3D%3D

If there is a bipolar transistor in the junk box, like the good old 2N3055 or similar, it would also be ok.

I need the number of LEDs in one string and the number of such strings,  I think the targeted power supply voltage would be 24 VDC, right? Then I will draw the schema.

Hi Graham and Jim,

Here is a simple switching circuit with bipolar transistor, see attached.

A MOSFET can replace the bipolar transistor of course but its VGS specification should be at least +/-25 V (preferably higher) if the supply voltage is max 23.7 V for the LEDs (as I advised in my above post).
