Yes,it is a heat engine. But at what temperature do we say there is no heat?--0*C is the freezing point of water--do we say there is heat in ice?. Do you propose we waste the inductive spike? What inductive spike ?. When do you get an inductive spike as a magnet passes a coil which has an LED across it?. There's more to it than that - for instance, the point at which the fluid tumbles down from the head. The fluid tumbles down from the head thanks to gravity. When there becomes an open path through the tube for the pressure to equalize,then gravity pulls the fluid back down to the bottom chamber. Brad
