Well you did it again. Nice set-up indeed. Did you try it with magnets, one on left and one on right that could be positioned close enough to the extended position of the pendulum weight to maintain the original applied force, maybe making it really perpetual.

Also, I would like to show you something I had worked on way back and will eventually work on again by adding a few magnets and optimizing the eight internal paths. See here the three images on my ftp web site. hehehe

Maybe this can give you some fodder for your future works. In this system each ball goes through many positions in their respective internal identical paths but all the activity together produces a complete movement that is so close to perpetual, very close. I am using 3/4" diameter steel balls and am thinking about increasing that to 1" balls to increase the ball-to-wheel weight ratio. But the idea is to not just use a linear form of ball movement but a 360 degree travel of each around their respective cells.

Hi,

Nice crafted model. But I don't see a difference between this and other overbalanced wheels. I think ovals should change their shapes while rotation.
P.S. Do not leave the switch on the wall. You could be blamed in electricity usage even if it work. Hehehe.
