Since the output is so cool, I wonder how a small centrifugal blower pulling vacuum on the output stack would help e.g. in startup and to help maintain the vortex in the main chamber.
With a speed control on it, the burn rate and heat output can be better controlled.
A vacuum at the top of output stack (on the outside of the building) is a lot safer than a blower on the input, especially if the system is not perfectly sealed.
