I did say to ION some time back that the current needed to be pulsed, seems that it is the case when you read about how they have done it and that Rossi was using a square wave "lots of harmonics".

With SMD some years back I used also a pulsed "HF" along with the change over of polarity by using three mosfets, the diagram I posted by mistake, it has unusual results to the energy capture as well as the resulting elements.

Hummmm I think I will go back down that path when I can find the time.
