The search for UFO's and AC/ET life

[PhysicsProf]

1.  A new TEDx talk:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_RquOChJuE
Excellent talk on applying the scientific method to the question of UFO's.

2.  A follow-up video with Prof. Wendt: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0JbakdRPoi0

3.  A book I wrote on the same subject, published on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B084KNBFRZ/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i1

4.  My comment to video in (2), based on my book (3):

I hope you are not planning to look for Dyson Spheres...

Numerous UFO's have been reported to travel at Mach 10 with no sonic boom.  Isn't that also a technosignature?  Paul Hill did a good analysis of this UFO feature, snd others, in his book: Unconventional Flying Objects.

You might take a  look at the biochemist's analysis of the Arecibo Reply:
https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Arecibo_answer

James Deardorff, former Senior Scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research, in Boulder, Colorado, has attempted to calculate the Arecibo response to be less than two chances out of 10 billion to be a hoax.[3]

  Thanks, Grumpy.
"I hope you are not planning to look for Dyson Spheres... "  -- Not that approach, no.

[Grumpy]

Since they (extraterrestrials) are already here, as evidenced by numerous UFO sightings, and eye whitness reports, there should be a way to contact them.

ET's communicate with crop glyphs, but since a couple were faked, too many people assume they are all faked.
Did you see the videos of the little orbs flying around and the crop glyphs (circles) suddenly appearing below them?  Hard to fake that real-time manifestation of crop circles.

Are you familiar with the "Horizon Mission Methodology"?  It's like reverse phsychology for determining where to look technology-wise.  We should be using this method to figure out how to reproduce a gravity-like force.

Will definitely have a look at the TED talk. Oh, and your book of course Steve.

To sort of go 'out there'. I believe we used to have many abilities, that are now not needed.
Back in caveman days, a party may head out and sense a danger in an area. That area was where people were killed by snakes from a hidden pit. Future hunting groups know to avoid the area, because the area itself is infused with the warning.
Back at the cave, others could readily remote view the group, to know they were safe.
Such things are around now as 6th sense, ESP, Remote Viewing, Deja Vu, but we don't know how to use them anymore. We don't need to use them.

Strongly emotional moments, such as death by force, or even marriage (can be a similar thing if marrying the wrong woman) may include an 'energy dump' into the spot that the event takes place. Such things may bring spirit contact... or people on YouTube walking around with radios listening in for spirit words.

So where is Slider going with this?
What if, ET's are in the same ballpark for our own communications abilities. Abductions may be happening, sightings may be happening, but we're always just that bit 'off' from fully grasping the realities, because we've lost what once was common.
In terms of a radio, our tuning dial is now set to focus on the moment, not the longer and bigger picture. Day to day survival is replaced by a cellphone and weekly shopping.
Tuning the self back into a better resonance that would bring better ET understanding, may be possible. I don't believe a purple robe and chants to be the way, but will continue to look upwards outside when the weather warms up.

[Grumpy]

We need an accelerating force field, like "gravity", but we don't know how to creat one.  Until we do, we are not going far from this planet.

How can we solve this small problem?

Is there some way to tie this to the search for ET's?

[PhysicsProf]

Thank you for comments, Slider and Grumpy!

Note that I'm changing the title to: The search for UFO's and AC/ET life.
The AC stands for Advanced Civilization.  For example, a strange monument found in remote Antarctica or on the moon would not necessarily imply ET - it could be an earth-bound Advanced Civilization...

[Grumpy]

To contact aliens: (seriously)

Reproduce your own Arecibo Message and hopefully you will hear about the crop circle answer that they create for you.

For example, if you send them the location of our Apollo-era landing sight on the moon, they will repsond with their location(s) on the moon.

Keep in mind that there are powerful factions that do not want this to occur, and will go to great lengths to disclaim anything that comes from this effort.  It will still work though.

You need some friends with a radio telescope...

Of course there have been advanced civilizations on earth.  The evidence is all over the place.  Probably several of them over the millennia.
