Garret Moddel | Extracting Zero-Point Energy: Does it Violate the Second Law?

[broli]

Thought I'd share this here as it has not been formerly discussed as far as I've seen.

it's interesting to see such (sometimes controversial) topic being handled by people who do have the lab and production equipment to do rigorous verification and validation of it.

What's most signficant to me is the attached slide as 70 W/m² is quite significant. And as they mention this is a flat device so it can be easily imagine 100's or 1000's layers high which is not far from current 3d ram chip technology. You could easily achieve kW tabletop devices.

Remarkable video, thank you, I had the same thoughts on their work.

Not only do they explain the principle with great clarity, not only do they have measurements to show and respond to possible experimental artefacts, not only do they respond to the objections of principle that they have made to themselves or to those of other colleagues, in particular on compliance with the second law, not only do they have no conspiracy theories why mainstream science would reject them, but they also have the honesty to provide the questions they don't have answers to.

This is real scientific work. If the FE is ever obtained, it will be far more likely to be by people like them than by FE clowns like Bearden or Don Smith and their "secrets". We are light years away from the gibberish of the latter, those should learn how to express themselves in science.
I will follow the work of these scientists with attention. I don't know if it will result in useful devices, but in any case, it's the kind of way to go.

Paul Thibado et all published a new paper recently going through the math and why their device works even though the 2nd "law" of thermodynamics says it cant. Their math is quiet rigorous and honestly this is a big win for free energy tech. I'm curious if this will go viral as the rest of the world has been surprisingly quiet around this idea. This is pretty much a real world example of Maxwell's Demon.

Here is a more human readable article on this latest paper:

The cool part is that they are already in the commercialization phase.

Well
broli
Thanks for sharing
Did start a few topics to spread the word
And so others elsewhere might comment and ?
Spread the word too.

Thanks for posting this...

Consider the following,

The Second Law of Thermodynamics states that the state of entropy of the entire universe, as an isolated system, will always increase over time. The second law also states that the changes in the entropy in the universe can never be negative.

It's easy to prove the laws of thermodynamics are false and if entropy always prevailed the universe as we know it should not exist. Gravity formed all the planets, solar systems, galaxies and concentrated there energy in the process. If not for Gravity concentrating matter and energy the whole universe would be a fog of uniformly distributed fine dust but it's not. Ergo, universal entropy is false. As well, it should be obvious that the only way the archaic laws of thermodynamics can work is by imagining every system as closed. In real science we call this cherry picking and using false analogies. Simply put, there is more to the universe than jiggling atoms as heat.

Here is a clue, in the paper they published the first thing I noticed is what was missing. Having written science papers I expect to see certain key elements relating to any claim. Here they claim, they extracted energy from thermal fluctuations yet I see no data showing a temperature drop. I would simply build a bomb calorimeter, run the circuit for X time then correlate the temperature drop to the electrical energy output, easy peasy. Yet we do not see this here which implies like many they don't fully understand where the energy came from.

What I can say is that I also considered trying to dumb everything down to the primitive level of thermodynamics. Only because most people find it impossible to understand electrodynamics. For example, consider that one jiggling charged particle cannot transfer it's thermal/jiggling/kinetic energy to another charged particle without said energy becoming an electromagnetic wave in vacuum between said "charged particles". This is why I don't recognize thermodynamics as a valid concept because in effect were actually talking about kinetic energy being transferred by electric and magnetic fields .ie electrodynamics. We should call it what it is and always follow first principals.

Isn't this setup same with Jes Ascanius setup where we swap aluminium plate with aluminium graphene coated or graphene plastic film ? Is it thermal or RF ?
