I am not sure if this claim stands, i just received this email and am placing on this thread for discussion, I have not had a chance to study his claim.

Idea sounds fair but in practice I think it will be very difficult or impossible to implement however I just gave it a quick once-over so I'm not sure.

The disposition of the magnet poles is not even precisely described.
It's really a shame that the UK office accepts such patents (while it refuses those from Randell Mills). Neither the style nor the content fit even the worse state of the art.

The UK patent office is sinking into ridicule.

You don't have to prove it works to get a patent. Look at oall the no hope rubbish in the US patent system.

The date seems to be May 23rd. I reckon it is an application, not a patent.

It looks to me to be a variation on the circular SMOT track idea.

To move between two points of different magnetic potential is exactly the same as moving between two points of different gravitational potential. We cannot expect to find a way to return at the top of the hill at no price, after having used the energy when coming down.

I think it's impossible to label any device as being similar to any other device, the reason being they may appear to look and work the same but there could be a difference that would not be obvious that is the magic ingredient.

A bit like looking at 2 radial tyres and saying that if you puncture both with a nail they will both go down, physics suggests that they will, but we already know some companies are able to produce a tyre that will not go down.
