You could say that sea level increase is inevitable, since the last ice age sea levels have risen 125 meters, most of these 125 meters were before our industrial age and before Human induced carbon emissions. http://worldoceanreview.com/en/wor-1/coasts/sea-level-rise/What will happen at some point will be another iceage where all this water freezes again causing the sea levels to drop 125 meters, at this point we could say the large swaves of this planet will be under 100's feet of ice, London included. I think it is logical to say that just after a fresh iceage there is lots of ice and therefore a large thermal cold store, as the quantity of ice depletes this cold store diminishes in an ever increasing decrease due to lessening cold store mass, on this basis i think it is save to say that as the iceage comes to an end this end speeds up. The thing i don't understand is that all this fossil fuel was originally made by sucking carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, so we are currently releasing carbon dioxide that was once there anyway.
