That diode contains lead - you may have a hard time finding it

I have started building diode strings out of these and i have not killed ANY yet. I give them a big A+

1N914 at 4ns isn't fast enough

using a trigger transformer with good results (and the 1N914 after the differentiator)

They were to isolate the trigger electronics of an avalanche pulser.

I'm using a coaxial transformer instead and currently waiting on some RG-213/U (solid PE) so I can use higher voltages.
