I could not but help admiring these chaps, just as they went up and it got narrower i thought they were there, but no, it looked like bolts were used to climb up on at the top GULP.

Building these towers must take incredible skill and concentration.

PS i am not even sure if 1 Million would get me up there, i have trouble on a house roof

There was a church near where i live, a couple years ago they needed someone to go up and fix the wooden cross on top, they ended putting a national call out for a carpenter on live TV because they were unable to find one that would get up there, whatever the reason it had to be repaired in situ.

It doesn't look a hard job now

And you would think the system would check weather conditions prior to the climb. In a rain storm at that height in short sleeves. Hope they have parkas. Hero Member Posts: 1673	You would think that there would be a module that can be lowered to the ground on a line, then change the lamp, then haul it back up again. The scenic flying arrangements in London theatres used to be run by merchant seamen. These chappies need to send someone on a short service detachment to the Royal Navy or join the Sea Cadets.
