It's not as complicated as it may seem...

Many of us were banned from OU and several followed to settle here. There exists a huge bias, and the bannings were unjustified. There are several factors and issues involved, but I'd rather just state that here we would like to be more objective, yet remain open. Integrity is important, and the hard questions are welcomed rather than frowned upon.

OU is not conducive to hard science and sound methods. The lack of quality and integrity at the two other popular forums speak for themselves.

it seemd to me to be after the admin of that site you mentioned was rude to Agent Gates who had promising details of new designs on OU but never had a chance to tell us more,
so we have deserted the original OU site and come here hoping AG will return to a friendlier place where we respect him highly for help in future experiments with OU and follow his unique fresh ideas.

For a moment my heart sank when I saw Inexplicably STupid, illiterate Muppet that he is, denoted as 'group moderator'... until that is, I realised this was just on his workbench... phew!!

No doubt, from this point forward we can all now expect truck loads of utter nonsense and multiple garbage posts to detract from any sensible discussion. What a shame.

I hope this is not another forum about to take a drastic nose dive into the gutter due to this moron being allowed to roam loose and create havoc!

Your comments are appreciated of course Ken, but most members here are quite familiar with IST and his nutty antics over the last few years at OU.com. Stefan tolerates far too much imo, but then again, he is mostly interested in site hits rather than quality content. That much is obvious to most.

I warned IST about the guidelines and what is acceptable. I asked him to be decent and reasonable. Obviously he chose not to honor any of this, and he was banned from registering at this forum. Most are probably surprised we even allowed him the 24 hours or so he did have to wreak havoc here.

Funny thing about IST is that lots of people take him seriously on the other forums. I don't mean to be nasty but once I saw him post, "I've had no formal training." No kidding, I watched an IST two or three-parter on YouTube once and it was obvious that IST had absolutely no clue what he was doing.

He was politely asked to be reasonable by Poynt and then went right ahead and blew himself away in a blaze of IST posting glory!
