Thanks Chet. I love Dave’s work on this. Might be one to start printing

I read on wikipedia:
"Salvatore Cezar Pais is an American aerospace engineer and inventor, currently working for the United States Space Force [...]. His patent applications on behalf of his employers have attracted international attention for their potential military and energy-producing applications, but also doubt about their feasibility, and speculation that they may be misinformation intended to mislead the United States' adversaries or a scam[...]
Pais received his PhD in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Case Western in 1999".

It is true that this sounds like science fiction. However the room temperature superconductor is very simple to build and verify, so I don't see how one could "fool the opponents of the United States" with such basic things.
If it is a scam, again I don't see who would benefit from it. It's hard to imagine the US Navy trying to scam investors with a flawed patent.

So I don't know what to think about this situation where a prominent institution claims to own revolutionary inventions, obviously ahead of all physics, and makes them public despite their critical field of application.

Currently printing his bowl. I intend to test his OU claim which resembles a Howard Johnson magnetic gate motor in some of the effects https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWESbALZELQ . I'm thinking rather than passing PMs through a tube why not put them on a monorail? It would be easier to test with only one bowl. The small bearings that would be needed would have to be attached to the rail. That seems to be the trickiest bit.

This was covered about a year ago and got some attention in the mainstream media. Alienscientist on Tim Pool talking about this is what prompted the Ministry of Truth to make the Wiki entry.

Ok 1st one complete. Getting the pms in is a bitch. It will fire other neos 3m across the room. So he is right about that.

It seems magical….It is interesting that he gives a bit of how to for replication !
I am asking for input from physics community!

Thanks
Chet

it looks like his gate would work in a loop but would need 60 bowls. Which is cost prohibitive. Makes his fusion experiment a bit more interesting edit: Another interesting take here. Can't understand a word he's saying but an interesting adaptation of the gate. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4TzPFun5SzI&t=564s. Unlike other gates I've worked with, this one has a sticky spot at every bowl, it "pushes" & "pulls" the PM at the same time.

I went through some of the Salvatore patents and recognized the layout and language from many much older patents.

The superconductor patent premise is already know in the art and as the inventor implies many are barking up the wrong tree with meta materials. Tesla also touched on some of the problems relating to the dissipation of energy. I followed this same path trying to understand exactly how, why and where energy dissipates in conductors. It's not rocket science... why and where does energy dissipate?, it's a valid question.

As it turns out it's super easy to understand. Resistance does not cause dissipation in conductors, that's absurd, the resistance usually produces electron scattering which is the actual cause of the energy transformations we call dissipation. Negate electron scattering by organizing/synchronizing the electron flow and no dissipation occurs. Our first clue should have been the fact that the free electrons present in every conductor are already moving around near the speed of light and they don't dissipate energy. So we already have proof it's possible...

AC

preliminary tests would indicate the Russian bloke is giving the pm a generous push. Got slowed down by chopping off the top of one of my thumbs while cooking my breakfast omelette. I do have two bowls to test with now. Working on the third. The omelette was delicious

I’d say David is right about this device. Whether I use one bowl or two, only 360gr of force  needs to be applied to shoot the mags through the bowls. The unique shape of the field means the opposing field is weaker than the attracting one at the base of the bowl. As the mag exits one bowl the force is enough to easily sail past the next stick point. I see no reason why his claims of looping this would not work. Most promising device I’ve built

Hey Jim
Nice bowls... nice work.

If your present experiments don't work out there is another direction you can take with your setup. When I saw the setup I recognized the layout from my research almost a decade ago on an inventor named Karl Schappeller. I could remember the layout but it took me a while to place the name, getting old.

This is the condensed version...
http://rexresearch.com/schapp/schapp.htm

I attached a picture of the basic layout below and more information can be found by searching "The Physics of the Primary State of Matter", published in the 1930s, by Karl Schappeller. Karl's rags to riches history is a good read and he came from nothing to meeting some of the most powerful and influential people of his time. I'm not sure if it's noted in the links I posted but in my research I found notes that the inner copper tubing he was using as a coil may have been filled with crushed quartz crystal.

I assumed the spherical form was to concentrate or focus the magnetic field, the internal dielectric to create some kind of electric feedback mechanism and the quartz packed coil tubing a plasma/piezo resonator of sorts.

So as is generally the case, the technology always comes full circle through many inventors rediscovering the same process in time. The people may come and go but the form and function remains...

Regards
AC

Thanks for that AC. I’ll take a look. Re the smot  reference I’ll take a look. I can now shoot the magnet slightly further with two bowls than with one. How does one measure pin pout without building another 58 bowls to loop it?

had a look at the smother. No comparison in the mechanism. Friction would definitely be a factor but minor in comparison to the smot and the operation of this device

Here’s an idea.

Use the bowls as a vertical elevator for the magnet stack. At the top of the elevator shaft let the mag stack slip sideways into an adjacent shaft and fall past coils around or alongside the 2nd shaft generating some electricity. Leave enough room at the bottom of the 2nd shaft for gravity, or another bowl, to accelerate the mag stack to impact a spring triggering mechanism to shoot the next stack into the bowls to repeat the cycle.
Maybe even use the elevator bowls recoil to reload the last fallen mag stack, sort of like a repeating rifle.

There you go! A real Rube Goldberg free power generator.

Cheers
