It frustrates me immensely that "ms" science is largely focused on peripheral gimmick-ery instead of on fundamental improvements that could revolutionize the way we live and eliminate the need for planned obsolescence.

I can't personally vouch for truth in this but it certainly rings true.
It's pitifully self endearing to regard any electrical / magnetic / physics THEORY as 100% spot on correct.
Obviously there must be a middle ground where not everything is algebra.
With such cognitive dissonance at play, debates are inevitable.
Cancelling freedom of speech however, is not something I can encourage.
Allowing it should be seen as a respectable quality in a place intended for discussion IMO.
