It demonstrates what looks like an effective way to break the "sticky point" using gravity.

Having hacked a crude replication together over the past few days, I have achieved what is not seen in the video (upwards acceleration from 6-2 o'clock positions)
However I have not yet been able to replicate the motion shown at 1.36 - 1.39.

It would be good to read about other attempts made at this setup which by all regards is quite simple when compared with some other designs.
All suggestions / input welcome since information or attempts on this are seemingly quite scarce.

It was named the remanence motor years ago.
Why remanence? Let's think through the processes.

The acceleration of the whistling sound is clearly audible as the measurement process. (I don't remember the measurement process exactly.)

After a while, the steel ball became magnetized, and then the process stopped. So it cannot be used on its own.

The phenomenon can be applied to the Bedini motor in an optimized process. But it is also possible that after a long time, the whole thing becomes completely meaningless.

Sure, here's where I got to so far. Having been a little generous with the "adjustment cavity" I'll need to start a new build.
The moving member (OP states it is a neodymium ball, not steel) needs to be able to accumulate momentum, enough to re-enter between 6 & 9 o'clock for it to do as we wish..
Lengthening the latter part did not yield the result I had hoped for.
I am using a 20mm dia. x 15mm deep N42 cylinder since it rolls better than the N42 ball I had been using.

The phenomenon can be applied to the Bedini motor in an optimized process.

Thanks for sharing. Those two videos are equally worthy of investigation.
Adding a pulse coil that could certainly make for an interesting build, although I do believe the goal here would be to simply sustain motion using PMs alone.
It'd be tricky to siphon anything from such a "low power" build.

I'm still unsure whether there is a hidden pulse coil in the video in mention. I doubt it - but there's only one way to (dis)prove it.

This is something that anyone could attempt - although it does require a good level of precision and deliberation.
For those skilled in CAD, well - you guys have an immediate advantage

The Idea of extracting energy from seemingly inert magnets has been the ambition of many for a lot of years . Probably one of the best known to us tinkerers and researchers would be Howard Johnson. Perhaps excelsior you might be interested in investing two hours of your time watching a interview from 1994 and a few demonstrations by the man himself alas Johnson died 2008 and is obviously frail when this was filmed so very much posthumously

Thankyou Duncan - imo Johnsons work should be required viewing in Colleges etc.
Alongside Troy Reed, Robert Adams and a host of other developers - yet not a single one of their purportedly successful designs made it to the public sphere.

It ought to make any logical person question official conclusions on these matters and the funding source(s) which brought them about.
Meanwhile around 9% of the world's population currently lives in "extreme poverty"

I'd say there is ample cause to investigate even low level OU, for the curious and informed alike since it is yet to be established as common knowledge.
Low level OU is clearly all the "uninitiated" can hope to attempt and can be considered "low hanging fruit" for those more informed.

I've put this project aside for now but I'd hope it gets picked back up at some point. Would be great to see others attempt it - may rekindle my interest
