It seems this topic is rarely if at all discussed in this space. But zero point motion is essentially where the whole notion of zero point energy comes from.

No matter how hard the cosmologist want you to belief in the "heat death" of the universe on the quantum level everything is always moving forever. What is even more astounding is that this motion is not chaotic and random but has vibrational modes.
