The information here is revised from those first posted in 2006 in the overunity.com forum.

Unfortunately, that forum was not moderated and there was too much noise.  That confused many serious learners.

This thread will be locked.  A new discussion thread will be open after sufficiient information is made available in this main thread.

The main contents in this thread are:

1.  The Pulsed Pendulum as a means of bringing-in Gravitational energy
2.  The concept of Parallelgram of Forces
3.  Applying a horizontal force to a Pendulum
4.  The tension in the string is responsible for bringing-in the gravitational energy
5.  The Pulsed Magnetic pendulum to bring-in magnetic energy
6.  Changing the oscillation motion to rotation
7.  The Pulsed Rotational devices on the Internet

We shall go into the mathematics in its glorious detail in the following posts.  In this introduction, I shall only say the following:

1.   In Physics, a horizontal force cannot do vertical work as the displacement is at right angles to the force.
2.   In order to do vertical work by a horizontal force, some kind of simple machine such as a pulley needs to be used.  The simple machine converts the horizontal force to a vertical force.
3.   In the particular case of a simple pendulum, a horizontal force can push the pendulum to a new position.  This new position will have both a horizontal displacement and a vertical displacement.
4.   What kind of force is responsible for the vertical displacement?
5.   The answer from the Parallelogram of Forces is that the tension of the string is responsible for the vertical displacement.  The tension can be resolved into a horizontal and a vertical component.
6.   When we ask the additional question of energy – the horizontal energy is equal to the applied horizontal force x the horizontal displacement.  There is no dispute here.
7.   How about the vertical energy?  One plausible explanation without violating any Laws of Physics is – the vertical energy is equal to the vertical component of the tension x the vertical displacement.  This vertical component of the tension is NOT supplied by the horizontal force.  There is no obvious simple machine conversion here.
8.   Our unconventional thinking is – gravitational energy is actually lead-out or brought-in.  We can then do the mathematics with this view or explanation in mind.
9.   The mathematical result is that two parts of horizontal energy can lead-out one part of gravitational energy!
10.   In other words, when we supply 2 parts of horizontal energy, a total of 3 parts of energy goes into the pendulum system.  If there were no loss, 3 parts of energy will be available to do work.  This represents a COP (coefficient of performance = Output Energy/Input Energy) of 1.5.

I consider this as a Divine Revelation because the swing or the pendulum has been around since the beginning of mankind.  Almost every one has seen a pendulum.  Almost every one has pushed a swing.  Almost every one has hung a thing with a string and allowed the thing to swing.

Nobody until Mr. Lee Cheung Kin in 2004 ever proposed that gravitational energy can be brought-in via a pulse-pushed pendulum.  The pulsing frequency must be equal to the swinging frequency (Resonance, Resonance and Resonance).

Bringing-in gravitational energy is this simple.  I shall prove this truth again using vigorous physics and mathematics.  With no interruptions, the posts will be easier to follow and understand.

Much good information is already available in:
http://www.overunityresearch.com/index.php?topic=610.0
replies 3 to 10.

There is no need to repeat them here.

The summary from those replies is:
1.   For a pendulum, a horizontal pull will raise the height of the bob.
2.   The previous misconception by many scientists was that the increased potential energy of the bob (higher position) came from the supplied horizontal pull somehow.
3.   The correct understanding is that the increased potential energy of the bob came from the gravitational energy brought-in via the tension of the string.
4.   So long as there is tension in the string, gravitational energy can be brought-in.
5.   The vigorous physics and mathematics have been checked and double checked.  They are correct.
6.   The mathematical result is that for small angles, two parts of supplied horizontal energy can bring-in one part of gravitational energy.  The coefficient of efficiency COP is thus 1.5.

The implications:

1.   The simple pulse-pushed pendulum can bring-in gravitational energy.
2.   A simple pulse-pushed magnetic pendulum can bring-in magnetic energy
3.   The magnetic field can be controlled in strength, direction or even turned on and off.
4.   The pulsed oscillation can be changed to pulsed rotation for greater efficiency.
5.   Examples of such Pulse Motors include Newman, Bedini, Adams, Wang, Liang and Tong Wheel.
6.   The Pulsing must be done at correct time (resonance).

Many of the claimed OU devices are in this class.  They bring-in gravitational or electromagnetic field energy and are thus OPEN systems.  There is no violation of the Law of Conservation of Energy.

The Pulse Rotation Information is now available with good updates at the following threads:

1.   The Tong Wheel: http://www.energeticforum.com/renewable-energy/7732-tong-wheel-public-display-validation-cop-3-43-a.html

2.   The thread started by Toranarod: http://www.energeticforum.com/renewable-energy/6959-robert-adams-pulse-motor-design-review.html

Some important points are:

Switching on the coil when the magnet situated on the rotor was in the exact location (as pictured below) and turning off the drive pulse at the exact time when no longer required were the crucial principles that achieved the long sought after phenomenon (i.e. better known as the cold current reversal technique) and it appeared that any slight deviation away from these electrical characteristics would render over unity impossible.

One often asked question is – If I continuously supply energy to a wheel, it will rotate faster and thus store that energy. Why should I pulse rotate it?

This is an excellent question and worth some thought.

I shall use an analogy here. If someone pushes a swing with great force at the wrong frequency, he may still be able to get the swing to go to a high position. He does not need to rely on the bring-in gravitational energy to help him. In the brute force push, some energy is wasted in opposing or slowing down the motion of the swing. It is not the most efficient way.

If we continuously supply energy to a rotating wheel, the situation will be similar. The conventional engineering design thought is to get the wheel to rotate fast; add a heavy flywheel to maintain the speed of rotation. Ignore any bring-in energy. Just use the brute force energy.

The Pulse Wheel design thought is to provide the minimum Input Energy and use the bring-in energy as much as possible. The rotational speed may be much slower. It may change to match the load. A resonance condition needs to be found. That resonance condition is expected to change with different loads.

Thus the Pulse Wheel design may need a computer program to alter the pulsing rate and/or duration to match the load. I believe that this was done in the Liang Wheel and the 225 HP motor. Both claimed to have achieved hundreds of Output Horse Power.

In other words, the design philosophy of the Bring-in Energy Pulse Motors is very different from the traditional Electric Motor.  We use short Pulses in Resonance with the Load.  It requires precision machine work and good computer programming.

The Divine Revelation 2 should now be clear.  We have been using brute force and produced hot electric motors that wasted energy.  We should be bringing-in energy and run our motors cold!  What a Divine Revelation!

Spreading the three Divine Revelations

One team will be going back to China tomorrow.  This team spent many hours with me going through the theory in detail.  They have top notch scientists and engineers.  They are associated with the top Universities in China.

They plan to do a set of experiments within the next two months.  If the experiments are successful, they will work on production as soon as possible.  Their target is to produce something for the Market within 6 months of successful prototyping.

Their experiments are likely to include:

1.   The Tuning Fork experiments.  The minimum they would do is a 4 tuning fork setup and record the sound intensity and duration at a fixed distance from the first tuning fork.  The intensity and duration of 1,2,3...n tuning forks in sympathetic vibration will be compared.  This will confirm Revelation 1 – bringing-in kinetic energy of air – beyond any shadow of doubt.

2.   The two stage Milkovic Pendulum and a Pulse Rotational Device.  They knew about such setups before meeting with me.  The meeting only helped to confirm that they did not waste their time and resources in researching in that direction.  They feel that with Divine Revelation 2 – bringing in gravitational or magnetic energy – they do not need to experiment blindly.  They can do precision engineering and computer programming.

3.   The LCR resonance circuits.  They knew about the Steven Mark device, Joule Thief, Joule Ringer and FLEET.  Now they also know the Rosemary circuit.  They definitely have two oscilloscopes, signal generators, DC power supplies, toroids, transformers and the electronic components.  They will have one Oscilloscope for Input and a separate one for Output measurements.  They will be hunting for resonance conditions.  Divine Revelation 3 – bringing-in electron motion energy via resonating flux changes – will guide them in their efforts.

Their comments include:

"Once you explained the concept of OPEN systems, we are no longer blinded by the dogma of wrongly applying the Law of Conservation of Energy."

"The Bring-in Energy Devices are NOT impossible perpetual motion energy machines because you bring-in energy from outside.  Once we look at air, gravity, electric and magnetic fields carefully, we know that we cannot draw an imaginary boundary to form a CLOSED system."

"The difficulty is likely to be the precision engineering and computer programming.  The many inventors on the Internet do not have the resources.  Some are lucky enough to hit on the resonance positions.  But they lack the resources to follow-up."

"Meeting and discussing the issues directly face-to-face is much better than reading on the Internet."

"We shall give you one of our first products.  We would like to have you as our consultant.  We do not mind donating your rewards to a charity of your choice."

"We do not believe in God.  But we do not mind you believing.  China is becoming a FREE country.  Freedom of speech and religion will be honored."

Are we going to have more servers of wine?  Some of them may not even believe in the Almighty!  Amen.

Quick Summary of the three Divine Revelations

Revelation 1 – Bringing-in kinetic energy of air molecules.  This is the simplest of all the experiments and such experiments have been done thousands of times already.  Strike one tuning fork.  One or more identical tuning forks nearby will go into sympathetic vibrations.  The resulting sound is louder and last longer.  The extra sound energy comes from the kinetic energy of air molecules.  Resonance condition is required.  At present, this Revelation is used for theoretical understanding.  No product based on this Revelation is planned.

Revelation 2 – Bringing-in gravitational or magnetic energy.  A horizontally pulse-pushed pendulum can bring-in gravitation energy.  The COP for small angles is approximately 1.5.  So long as there is tension in the string, gravitational energy can be brought-in.  If we replace the pendulum bob with a magnet and place other magnets around, we can bring-in magnetic energy.  Magnetic energy is better because it can be greater, have different directions and can be turned on or off.  The oscillation can be replaced by pulsed rotation (resonance pulsing).  The secret is in the exact turning on and off of the pulsing that depends on the load.  Precision engineering and computer programming is needed for best results.  Examples include Tong, Newman, Bedini, Adams, Wang, Liang, 225 HP wheels, etc.

Revelation 3 – Bringing-in Electron Motion Energy.  We can use LCR circuits to produce resonance or oscillation circuits.  A LCR circuit can be thought of as a tuning fork.  We can have multiple LCR circuits in resonance and electron motion energy can be brought-in.  The use of two oscilloscopes to display Input and Output waveforms and Power simultaneously is best.  Examples include FLEET, Joule Ringer, Steven Mark Device, Stan Meyer HHO generator, Rosemary Circuit etc.  This line of products is expected to mushroom quickly as it has no moving parts and the size can be much smaller.

With the three Divine Revelations, the mystery of Bring-in Energy devices is clarified.  The water has been turned into wine.  We just need more servers to interpret and produce products for the Masses.  Amen.
