Mystic Murakami strikes again!

This guy must make a mint from the brain-dead muppets that see him as some kind of OU guru and naively hang on to his every word like their life depends on it!  Funny how stuff on his 'supposedly' open-source fourm only seems to go one way.

Wonder if I can get a signed copy

I would agree Aaron can be a little opinionated but no more than most and likes to grandstand a bit to make his point not unlike many others. However something he does provide unlike most everyone here in this forum is --- Content. That is he puts together information in a comprehensive manner that people can understand and that they find useful and this service has value. If we are going to start criticizing others maybe we should first ask ourselves --- what have we done to provide useful content driven information to others?, unfortunately in most cases the answer is nothing.
Now let's put this in a perspective I think everyone can understand, we can spend endless hours filtering through an insane amount of posts then spend endless hours experimenting to hopefully produce a working system OR we could drop $37 dollars and have all the information we need. The question is what is your time worth? I would find it very odd that anyone would be crazy enough to spend days or weeks working at something to save $37, their time would be worth 10 cents per hour not including all the components they would probably destroy in the process. I am not saying anyone should buy this book however if they have an interest in this field of technology then it is a cost effective way to get real information, unless of course they feel their time is not worth anything.

Now on the issue of this ignition system, I built a similar system the same day I first read the water spark plug thread over at the Energetic forum and tested this system on a small 5hp engine within the week. To get to the point it works, I had a modified GEET system handy which uses a bubbler vaporizer which is far superior to both carburetors and fuel injection systems and the strong corona effects produced by this ignition system produced complete combustion in every case. I know this because we have a $20K combustion gas analyzer at work and I tested the engine, CO and NOX levels were practically non-existent at all operating conditions. Now lets put this in perspective, I have a home built ignition system and a coffee can bubbler carburetor operating at an air standard thermal efficiency that exceeds if not obliterates all known specifications from the multi-billion dollar automotive industry.
My thoughts on these types of systems are a little different than most, I am not really interested in vehicle applications but more so very high efficiency stationary co-generation systems. To me this makes sense because the automotive industry as we know it has no future, the future of efficient transportation was outlined by Tesla a very long time ago when he stated that the driving system should be modeled after that of locomotives which is a diesel-electric or hybrid system. Imagine that, Tesla knew full well that a hybrid system will always be the most efficient system and as usual he was light years ahead of his time.

On another note gas prices are on the rise which means that once again the american automotive industry (the big three) and their gas guzzling vehicles will become practically worthless. One would think people would have figured this out by now, the last time gas hit $1.50/litre the dealerships were full of gas guzzlers that nobody wanted and I would suggest dumping them now if you can before the big rush. I thought it was rather comical at the time, I was at the pumps next to a guy with a big old ford F350 4x4 and he was at $150 and still pumping when I rolled up in my new Toyota Echo/Yaris for work which got 50 Mpg(measured) on the very first tank of gas, I dropped in $20 worth and gave him a big old grin as I left him there still shaking his head. Now imagine the price of gas here spiking so that it is on par with Europe at $4 per/litre, what do you think most vehicles made by the big three will be worth? -- nothing.

In any case opinions are kind of like assholes--everyone has one, however real information which is tested and proven has real value because it saves us time and effort and I have more than proven to myself that this ignition technology does have real value.

Aaron has taken a cue from Bedini/Bearden and operates in a similar
fashion.  His sales pitch is formulated.  I wish he'd be more careful to
avoid grammatical and spelling errors in his spiels.

Finding what one needs to know and understand about plasma ignition
is relatively easy.  Aaron's new book may have some merit as an
educational resource.  There is a problem, however, with his simplified
single capacitor plasma generation approach.  He'll not be aware of it
until he actually installs one of his units on an automobile engine which
uses a distributor.

Agreed.  There are very real benefits to a well designed
fuel system and the plasma ignition system.

Well, indeed, everyone has a body part which is often
colloquially referred to as the a-hole.  But unless one has
really become acquainted with an "asshole" and taken it in
as a pet, then I'd have to disagree that everyone has one.

It is very true, however, that everyone can and may indeed
become an "asshole" with diligent practice.

Does it take one to know one?  All who've endured military
boot camp know the answer to this one...

I would agree, I would not say the literature here is groundbreaking in any way but it does perform a function. I remember getting my hands on a friends copy of Peter Lindemann's electric motor secrets and was pleasantly surprised by the way in which the content was presented. In fact I wish I would have had that video about 30 years ago as it would have saved me hundreds of hours of research and experiments in that field of technology. Imagine that, drop $40 and save hundreds of hours of R&D, lol, however at the time I watched the video there was nothing new that I did not already know but still I found the video informative and insightful and considered it time well spent. In the end that is what matters, If any product leaves us with a good feeling which gives us hope that we can do better then I think that is time and money well spent.
On a similar note 1/2 of the movies I have rented at $6 a pop in the last few years have been over-rated over-hyped crap and after watching them I do feel like I have been scammed and they were a complete waste of time and money. Yet this is considered perfectly normal  , that the movie industry has scammed millions of people by misleading them into believing their B rated crap is the best movie we will ever watch.
I think it's kind of odd that over time many people have come to consider some very strange things as "normal", for instance it is normal that we can buy a domestic vehicle that gets half the rated mileage quoted and we do nothing about it, it is normal that the product is over-hyped, over-rated and never delivers on what is implied, it is normal that the quality is inferior to what was promised, it is normal that on average we usually pay more and receive less, it is normal that we consider poor quality, efficiency and poor service --- normal, it is not normal it is a scam in my opinion.
Again I'm not saying anyone should go out and buy anything but rather it should be put in the proper perspective, I have never watched any of these video's or read these books and felt I was scammed, I considered it time well spent because it was informative and I usually learned something useful along the way.

How in the he!! can he claim he invented it?

He wasn't even a teenager's worry when folks were converting water vapors into plasma balls with a spark plug.

As far as the possibility he has developed a new way to do it..... I imagine he has developed a few things but hopefully most can be cured by qualified professionals

That book is a Clickbank multilevel marketing scam any one can sign up at clickbank and become a affiliate and market this book, if you look at the bottom of the Clickbank page and you see [affiliate = acimp]. Who knows how old this stuff is that whole site is just a Clickbank stock web page that you paste on your site and try to make it look legit, pretty lame.

Most inventions have little to do with inventing anything, as Tesla once said--this man (Poulson) takes my circuit and he uses a pool of mercury and he recieves a nobel, this man changes this and he calls it his invention when there is none in it. This is also why patents almost never show the actual primary process because everybody likes to steal intellectual property and call it their own. In fact the greater majority of all patents are improvements or changes to the original patents then the supposed inventor usually never includes the actual prior art the improvement was based on. It's a dog eats dog world out there

As I'm sure you've realised, I have a personal and very passionate dislike for Murakami and think he's a prize dick-head.

But personal feelings aside, I think him and his bed-partners are quite dispicible in what they do.  They make many claims of knowing this, that and the other, but never bring anything conclusive to the table.  They simply cherry-pick info from various places and people, putting it together as their own ideas and theories. They then produce books which they then promote on his website as being unknown technology (and other bullshit) and sell to the uneducated and gullible.

To my mind what he does is next to criminal, and I whole-heartedly feel he is a disgrace to the OU community and everything open-source stands for.  He is your typical faith healer or confidence trickster in a different guise. People can defend him to their hearts content, but to me he will always be a charlatan a scammer and con-artist of the first degree!
