Anyone know what factors regulate the speed of the blotch wall's movement through a medium?

Any one know of equations for this?

Does the blotch walls location equate to any sort of displacement?

Thanks!

If you are trying to move the Bloch wall then wiki 'magnetic reluctance'. There are formulas similar to Ohm's law.

Youn shift the wall on a ferrous rod with magnets on both ends by wraping a central coil on the rod. Then hit the coil with a signal.

Thanks WaveWatcher,

I was trying to decide how to calculate the transition in a small powder toroid core.

I did not know if it was different for straight line vs toroid.
