I have just discovered Silicon Carbide JFETS, there appears to be no body diode built in, they seem very fast and require very low drive current, for instance the below device if the gate is driven @ 1mA it would have a switch on resistance of just over 0.049 Ohms

Only downside is they are £36.00 each from Farnell  :'(
