I wonder if applying Christopher Cockerell Hover craft principle could make wind turbines more efficient.

instead of using an air dryer we use wind and have a turbine that uses the wind energy once concentrated around the periphery which would normally be used to give greater lift or power to lift the hover craft, surely it would also give more power to the turbine blades for rotation as well.

Tesla supposedly experienced wind or other air movement in his experiments (breezes) and Francis Nipher did some interesting research with magnetic storms and their associated winds.

The ultimate wind turbine is when you control the wind.
