I invite members to discuss the probability of an event in this video:

I'm not sure which event in the video warrants discussion.

The only happening in the video having any real probability is the likelihood that there are folks believing such simple experiments would generate something more than a well mixed container of junk or uneventful chemical reactions.

Perhaps the presenters think the science behind the theory of life's origins and the laws of probability was/is as simple as those demonstrations? If so, they aren't insulting science they are insulting human intelligence.

It looks to be an educational spoof.

To arouse curiosity and stimulate
thought.

The odds of the various "events" possibly
happening were given ranging from
Zero to some remote possibility.

Clearly, unless one knows "Magick" or
is able to summon supernatural forces,
there is no way to tumble a TV set with
discrete components into a working
device.  Kinda reminds one of the Theory
of Evolution doesn't it?

Which piece of the demo was shot first;

the working TV set

or

the disassembly and ripping out of the
circuit boards and wires?

I would say the odds of that tv working are about the same as life starting on earth, so i guess it must be possible  C.C
