Somehow, at some point in the reporting process,
the name of the material was changed:  According
to the press release the material is Aluminum Nitride
which is produced by reacting Aluminum with Nitrogen
under the requisite conditions.

Aluminum Nitrate is something else again.

Thanks for the links!  I've corrected Nitrate to Nitride in the OP.
