'Impossible' Space Engine May Actually Work, NASA Test Suggests

http://www.space.com/26713-impossible-space-engine-nasa-test.html

It's really starting to look as if an "impossible" space propulsion technology actually works.

Researchers at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston have found that a microwave thruster system that requires no propellant does indeed generate a small amount of thrust, Wired UK reported Thursday (July 31). If the technology pans out, it could make spaceflight far cheaper and speedier, potentially opening up much of the cosmos to exploration, advocates say.

Yes G i remembered that device also.

Here's the wiki on the EmDrive that nasa tested.

Interesting that all the links on the above page cannot be found ,or dont exist anymore

I just read the inventor's operational theory. He doesn't know how it works, either.

They all need to review Mach's principles and the Abraham-Minkowski controversy. Remembering that Newtonian Physics and Conservation of Momentum/Energy do not apply to open systems would also be beneficial.

Aren't the NASA folks members of the 'Multi-verse' crowd?

EmDrive Shawyer's Engine

Quote
Light = EM wave
Gravitation = EM wave

Shawyer's Engine works very good ( You only need made similar engine that will take gravitation Intensity )

Marosz ( in 2012 I made in home test that is able explain WhY and How his Engine is working !!! )
EM wave is not mowing respect to Earth
Light is moving respect to point where started

I'm very open for disscusion !
we can made  engine that will use Gravitation Signal from Stars !!

I will be starting work on my inertia drive on the 17/8/14,as i dont pick up my new lathe/drill/mill combo until the 15/8/14. Hopefully the new one will hold together longer than the prototype did.

After reading Marosz's thoughts I think he is on an interesting track.

Three problems with his theory:

1. Gravity waves are not EM waves. They are variations of spacetime density, in my opinion. Therefore, gravity waves cannot be detected because the detector is normally placed where the wave is thought to be occurring. The detector changes density with the wave. The only way to detect, use or whatever purpose a gravity wave is to have a detector outside of the wave and an EM source on the other side or inside the wave. This is seen with the flyby anomaly here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flyby_anomaly. This is also why the anomaly doesn't always appear. Sometimes, there is a gravity wave between the spacecraft and Earth and sometimes there isn't.

2. NASA has determined that mirrors (in this case, groves) are not required.

3. In Marosz's theory, the apparent acceleration would be along the path taken by the solar system and Earth through the galaxy. This was not the case in the paper submitted by NASA to arXiv.

The same effect explains the Pioneer anomaly - both change in velocity and change in the spin-rate. No other explanations, to date I've found, explains both. That far out spacetime is simply less dense because there is less mass in that area.

Besides, I don't see the acceleration being due to thrust. It should be due to pull toward the lower spacetime density created on one side of the engine.

All my opinion, nothing more.
