Just a fun little project i thought i would share.

Here i am using the rotor and stator from a Fisher & Paykel washing machine as the main parts of the motor.
The rest i had to make--bearing hub,shaft ETC.

This will be a !!free energy!! motor ,as the boat will have solar panels on board  :D
So we will be cruising up the river with no cost in fuel  O0.

This is part 2 of the build.

Here i run through the rewire that has to be done on the stator so as we can run this 3 phase motor on 12 volts.

We also get to see it run for the first time.
As you will see,the rotor is not quite true.
I think it may have been bent when thrown into the scrap bin where i retrieved it from.
It did have a lot of other heavy things sitting on top of it,so i had some digging to get to the rotor.
But im sure i can straighten it up so as it is close to true.

This motor is low RPM,but it has a lot of torque  O0

Seems we are very low on RPM  C.C,so a prop reconfiguration is required here.
