Honestly, the American Gov't is the same way. I learned firsthand from my being a USAF veteran. They now have the Patriot Act and Homeland Security on their side to do what they want to whoever they want. Once every person has a data record they can start filling in personal details, medical history, thumb prints, DNA, skills, age, how old and who your relations are, once you have this information then you would ideally have a system in place to track them, ...
And I agree. Computer databases can be data-mined to glean whatever info. they want and do what they want to with it. ...i mean who doesn't have a mobile phone these day's. ...
I admit I'm one of the few who doesn't have one. I have Asperger's syndrome and I really DO need to talk to people. Asperger's sufferers tend to isolate from outside contact. Those whom I'll be working for have asked me to do things like come to this Forum and express myself more. Part of my job will be presenting R&D findings to groups of engineers who would like me to be well-spoken and assertive. ...Once you get close to that scenario the people in control become gods.
