Electric ATV project.   This give me lots of fanciful ideas....  :D  :o

Yep there's a town where i was born has hybrid busses, my eyes nearly dropped out when i first read hybrid on the back. :o

Hybrid boats are already on the seas.  It's like an "Energy Renaissance"!

(I had no idea that BAE was involved with hybrid systems - more than 20 million hours of operation have been logged.)

The real beauty of hybrid systems will be realized when an alternative to batteries is available!

I would like to see a hybrid plane get off the ground  C.C

I am pretty convinced that Calcium metal has a future as being a reusable fuel, burn Calcium in air and you get calcium Nitride and Calcium Oxide, but burn that in a chamber full of air, you would in effect consume 86% volume(Nitrogen+Oxygen) thus create a vacuum, better still you can get it to liberate hydrogen at will, and it's a light very common element, plus calcium oxide one of the waste products can be used for construction and calcium nitride is a very valuable resource and can be use as a fertilizer or be used to further produce ammonia.

I am also wondering if it could be used in place of Lithium to form a new type of calcium based rechargeable battery.

So as we fly around we fertilize the planet...
Just like birds.

Hybrid RV's:

Redefining the meaning of "land yacht"...

QuoteSome railroad has been hybrid (General electric Diesel-electric locomotive) since 1918. Don't say hybrids don't have torque and can't pull a hill -- they don't have support. As for Europe's RVs they are much less thirsty and much better designed: Winnebago, Fleetwood, etc.'s can't compete, so they aren't let in to this country... I know, I tried. Check out for example: McLouis.com, Hymer.com, lmc-caravan.com demand they be allowed in.

Scopolomine agents.

The last 5 mass killing events were all labeled [No apparent reason was cited].

Look up the effects of burundanga.

Jimson weed grows wild in my yard.  Rabbits eat it when nothing else is available.  Harvester ants take away the seeds. I read that early settlers ate it like cooked greens and then tripped for 8 days, very pleasant laughing and giggling with no memory of it.

calm at the edge...

few ideas come to mind:

1)   the particles slow down because of gravitational pull, and eventually stop and fall back.

2)  since Voyager2 is seeing the winds and traveling in the other direction opposite Voyager1,  this means that perhaps the "winds"  are indicative of the drift of our solar system through the universe, so they show a type of "doppler" phenomena.

3)  Come on, who are they kidding.  There are no winds in space, even I know that!   :D

This was a surprise to me, on the heels of a successful ICCF-18 conference:

QuoteDuncan Leaving University of Missouri and Nuclear Research

Robert Duncan

Robert Duncan

Robert Duncan, an outspoken advocate of low-energy nuclear reaction (LENR) research, is leaving his post as the vice chancellor for research at the University of Missouri, in Columbia, Missouri.

Duncan will become the vice president for research at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, on Jan. 1, 2014, according to press releases from both universities.

He will move from a university with significant nuclear research programs to a university with no nuclear research programs. Texas Tech has no nuclear physics or nuclear engineering department.

At the University of Missouri, Duncan is responsible for the management of the university's major research facilities, which include the Missouri University Research Reactor, the most powerful university research reactor in the United States.

The shift for Duncan also includes moving down from a tier 1 university to a tier 2 university. The ranking is based on a gauge developed by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions, a "gold standard" used to compare the quality of universities.

Duncan did not return phone messages from New Energy Times.

I attended ICCF-18 -- great meeting!

Peterae

So does this mean he was demoted because of his interest in LENR  :-\

Hopefully he's just seeking some new scenery;
new opportunities and challenges.
For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open.

Basically, that's it.

I wrote to Arik at Univ of Missouri SKINR project, and he replied:
QuoteDear Steven,

Thank you for your kind words, we enjoyed the meetings and the discussions as well.
Yes, this is true, Rob is leaving to Texas Tech in January 2014, Rob will continue to be involved and his move is not related to SKINR what so ever (it was simply an opportunity he could not say no).
Rob will probably will maintain a professorship position in the physics department with direct involvement in SKINR.
This move will not affect SKINR, we are continuing with our program including the financing.

Best regards,

Arik

Peterae

Glad to hear that PP

G
That Nuclear power station is going to come online too late, there will be massive over runs and delays no doubt, it would appear the UK can no longer make a paper aeroplane without massive costs and even then we need to bring the Chinese in to fold the paper LOL

Britain is no longer great more like pitiful.

NSA spies on Google and Yahoo servers:

I've only loosely followed this whole thing since Snowden leaked it out originally.   I haven't heard "why" they are spying on all of this email and internet traffic.

This is a very large undertaking.  I can't see that middle eastern terrorism warrants something of this magnitude.  Next will be stories of three precognitive girls in a tank somewhere, predicting crimes before they happen (Movie: Minority Report)

The Federal Reserve is still buying bonds through it's "easing" plan, and housing prices are soaring again, but gas is down - as winter starts.

Any good theories on what is really going on in the world?

Peterae

It would appear they are building a database of every person on this planet, our 10 yearly census was farmed out to American defense subcontractor at 10 times the cost of the previous one.

That means they now know everything about everyone who's legal in the UK, i guess even illegals will be on some database somewhere, most death records in developed countries are digital, so you only need to appear on any 1 database they have access to over the persons life and they can notch a data record and know if they are still alive.
Once every person has a data record they can start filling in personal details, medical history, thumb prints, DNA, skills, age, how old and who your relations are, once you have this information then you would ideally have a system in place to track them, i mean who doesn't have a mobile phone these day's.

Once you get close to that scenario the people in control become gods.

Question is why.
